im not willing to debate this again UB, but you can't tell me the kings would be better of with last yrs jason williams. I guarantee you they would be worse than 7-3, bibby is the better player right now face it and hes tenfold better for that team, christie was a spark but i was listing a multiude of factors and bibby is a significant upgrade. Theres one thing on guards like francis, and marbury, with massive potential, they actually play like they want to be allstars, Williams doesnt, and the truth is the flashiless bibby provides the distributing, more scoring, better defense in the TEAM Concept

Now jason williams may be god on rucker park but this aint streetball and you have to learn how to include your talents in a team concept, which jason has yet to do

Overall, geoff petrie has done one hell of a job there and the bibby/williams trade is one big stroke of genius for Sacramento and they have the ability to hang with LA due to a strong bench and 5 good multi facted players in divac, cwebb, peja, christie, bibby although itll be tough. By the way, adelman is a bad coach huh, hes without his superstar and he has his team 7-3 and strongfully competing vs the best in the West(destroyed SA, played LA very tough), i dont think so.

    1) Kelvin Cato was signed longterm.

Looked like a good idea at the time, but yes, this has turned out to be a bust.

    2) Glen Rice was acquired longterm.

    Three years is not long-term.

    3) Hakeem was sent packing,,, longterm.

One year is not long term. And he was leaving anyway.

    4) The team opted to not sign Chris Webber.......

    Webber never had interest.

    5) The team opted to sign Mo Taylor
    a) Mo can't rebound.
    b) Mo is injured.
    c) Mo was exhibiting signs of injury BEFORE HE SIGNED LONGTERM FOR 50 ****ING MILLION DOLLARS.

    a) We know Mo can't rebound, but he can shoot.

    b) Rudy didn't take an axe to Mo's Achilles.

    c) Apparently it wasn't serious enough to dissuade them from expecting him to play this year

    6) Moochie Norris was signed longterm....

So far it looks bad, but the juries still out. At least its not a very expensive contract.

You'd think we have a losing record or something.

    Achebe,

b****ing, complaining, wah-wahing not only makes this not so fun to look at, it makes it less entertaining for everyone involved. I see your posts all the time, and all I see is negativity. Yeah, undoubtably the Rockets organization has made mistakes. I'm sure they'd concede a few. But, is it necessary to constantly bring up moot, outdated points that any genius with a third grade education could point out? Not all the points you listed I agree with, and any self-respecting basketball player that has actually played the game will either. Are you worried more about the Rockets getting better for the future or are you more worried about being some hindsight trade/acquisition evaluator? A Roger Ebert of Clutch City. Lay off the coffee, or get a dog to help you relieve your stress. It's not bad being positive , I swear.

And you are??? The keyboard shortcut for the back button is alt + left arrow. From now on when you want to reply to a thread that you don't like reading, use the keyboard shortcut alt + f4. CTRL+ALT+DEL twice gives your post a high priority.

That's me. That's my mo. I'm negative. I was raised on the anti-Pollyana. Her hair was messy, she was a spoiled brat and she told priests quotes by Satan.

I'll have you know I graduated from the 6th grade, twinkle toes. I'm America. Deal with us. Intellectualism is bad. The masses are here to oink. Oink.

It was a 36 point rout. We had just routed someone else. I felt vulnerable. I had drunk a few (as I have now). I vented. Do I really have issues w/ Rudy? Have you really read any of my posts?

Besides, since most people DISAGREE with me, it's pertinent and appropriate to point out my disagreements. Does that point slip past your elitist post 3rd grade education?

Gee, what an epiphany. Someone disagrees with me. I feel violated. It's dark, it's so quiet here. Are you for fetching real? Get a life you fetching dork. Disagree with me by fetching enumerating your complaints you mental fetching midget, or read posts that you want to read.

If you have anything to add, other than your yadda yadda yadda, I'll be glad to respond to it. Otherwise, alt left arrow for the topic list. Do it twice for the main forum.

OK I was wrong. You REALLY should just get laid then. Can you take constructive criticism without taking it as a personal vendetta? I don't know you from Adam, but I do see negativity. Are we really having this conversation? Grow up.

If you don't like his posts, why the hell would you open up a thread of his?!?!

BTW, where exactly was there even one sentence worth of constructive criticism in your rant?

jh, i suppose you shanna and I shouldn't belabor the point. alt left arrow for the rockets forum, do it twice for the forum index.

If you have little 'opinions', enumerate them. Otherwise, I just don't see your value add. Goodbye.

ps. The Rockets won. Happy Happy Joy Joy.
ps2. Isn't it nice ignoring the problems on the nights of the wins.

Bravo! This has got to be the most succinct post ever... and yet it summarizes EVERYTHING.

Rice is nice.. but I would have kept the cash if I were the Rockets. Hang in there for the Duncan sweepstakes, baby.

I have to throw in something here. I have never been a Rudy basher...but something the other night disturbed me. We took a 20 second timeout to save ourselves a turnover. Well the camera was in the "huddle" with the guys and you could hear Rudy drawing up the play "You guys have lots of time left here....just try to get an open shot" That was it. Whats up with that? I mean c'mon Rudy...break out the whiteboard...draw some x's and o's...do that coachin thang!

I mean crispee could probly whip out a laptop and access a database of plays diagrammed in flash that wouldve been way better than leaving it up to our players imaginations. I know we have a creative team...but a little direction would be nice. I dont have much of a problem with any of the roster moves except the Cato signing / Dream departure. Hey wait a minute thats a big problem. Heres to bashing Rudy!

I have a lot of respect to Rudy and CD, I said before and I'll say again that it was'nt smart to acquired RICE and send Shandon Anderson to NY. I don't think that's a smart move!!

I heard that too Rollin. The impression I got was that Rudy was a little frustrated and wanted to keep it simple, but I agree, they probably could have at least talked about a play so that everyone knew what was going on.
