I don't think we're seeing what we have in Smith. He's never going to be a guy who can put the ball on the floor and create. We have no coach and no pg. Let's see what happens when that comes to fruition.

Gordon is still a solid role player it just makes little sense for a rebuilding team to keep him. He can do a lot off the bench for a contender and a first rounder plus expiring contracts should be the fair price for him I think.

    1) Get rid of Silas
    1.1) get rid of KPJ
    Then
    2) trade Gordon because he deserves better.

Then this team will be better.

Unless someone overpays what's the point?

His contract is non-guaranteed in the final season so you can get out of it next offseason. The tank needs a commander.

You're trolling. Realistically, a guy like Marcus Smart would work

Only player who had a really good game yesterday, but i think he will be traded closer to the trade deadline.

He’s probably the best player on this team lol
If you get rid of him this team gets much worse
However it does open up minutes for others

In all, if you think Gordon is the worst player on this team then you have no clue what you are talking about. Which seems to be par for the course

Trading Gordon won't give the young kids minutes. Silas will give all of EGo's minutes to Tate.

EGo is trash for this team. Doesn't even offer a veteran presence. Just stands around the logo thinking about what's for breakfast.

his current ability is the best on this team maybe but he isn't what a rebuilding team needs. trade him while his value is relatively high like what you did with wood the past summer, not sure if mavs still have any 1st rounder available though.

Trading EG would actually make us worse, which is fine as we need to give those minutes to JC and TyTy.

It depends on the trade. Assuming we have to also include KJM, a trade that brought back John Collins would definitely make the team better. Tari and Collins starting at 3&4 is better than EG and Jabari. I doubt it happens for a few reasons, but that would be a better team for sure.

how about danuel house? danuele thesis? david nwaba!? i forgot also all the other scrub vets that stole the highlight and playing time to the freshly drafted picks , stunted their development and imbued them with stinky habits and stinky play...
    go stone go!
