Um, OKC with a healthy Westbrook? It was in the reg season but OKC was the 1st seed in the reg season, so......

it's not as if Lin is getting a fresh start, we actually have something to judge him on with a full season under his belt.

For Lin's sake, i hope he channels his inner steph curry, cause he's about to get a crap load of wide open 3's from Harden and Dwight Howard.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but you better make it rain...3's

Lin seemed like he played much worse off the ball than as a primary ball handler. Heck, it resulted in gazillion anti-Harden, anti-McHales posts last season wondering if they're purposely destroying Lin's career.

With Howard in the fold, Lin will have to have to use more off-the-ball skills. Better entry passes, better spot up shooting, perhaps some back door cuts, etc. I really hope he's working on that. Because if he can mix off-the-ball skills with his current game, then he can truly be the championship level PG the Rockets need.

There are stats showing he played better against .500 and above teams. So you're wrong. I can list a lot of games where he played well also, but won't since you already believe what you want to believe.

    = Beauty

Waiting for this next season, alley-oops to D-Howard all season long.
If Lin can feed Howard like he fed Chandler on the Knicks, I'll be more than happy with his performance.
Also if Lin can improve his 3 pt shot in the upper .300s to low .400s then he can become the next Steve Nash.
I don't mind if Lin scores less points, if he can feed Howard all game and win, I think everyone will be happy.

that game was a fluke, James Harden had the game of his career. i give him more credit for winning that game than Lin.

Lin nailed some big shots, i'll give him credit for that, but to insinuate that that is the bar to judge Lin by?

    no

he's going to have to learn to do similar things to what Derrick Fisher did for Shaq and Kobe.

i don't mean in terms of impact, just in style of play.

Lin had no choice but to adjust his game, he isn't better than James Harden so he was forced to a backseat.

he is the one who had to adjust. so whose fault is that?

gotta put the onus on the player

So you ask for facts, people provide them, and you tell them they are misleading, and use opinions as your argument. Lovely.

He had the best entry pass on the team, he shot 38% from 3 for 3 months, he adjusted and took his opportunities to create leading the team in assist. You guys make him sound like he was terrible, but he wasn't. He could have been more effective with the ball in his hands I do agree with that.

I thought you guys wanted just a spot up shooter for PG and now you're saying you want more than that? He can't seem to appease you guys whatever he does, he has to be perfect. And by the way many of the guys still need a lot of development, Harden needs to shoot better (he shot just as well as Lin by the end of the season), make better decisions. Chandler needs to handle the ball better, Howard if he wants to post up he needs to work on that.

How about San Antonio (Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli all played above 32mins also)? 38pts, 7asts, 2 sts, 2blks and only 2 TOs and 2 PFs on 72%TS and singlehandedly took the game to OT without Harden. Fluke? Really? You wanna know how many guys have had a performance like that since Tim Duncan has played for the Spurs? 4...Rose, DWill, Lebron, and Lin...get out of here man...

Wow, so that OKC game meant nothing but the Miami game from two seasons ago tells you all you need to know?

I smell desperation in the air of the Lin haters.

The way Jeremy's contract is structured with the balloon payment next year, it is unlikely he is paired with Asik in any trade or traded at all for that matter. I predict Lin will be a Houston Rocket for at least the next two years so get used to it haters.

I think he could well have a great season this year and even better next year. His trajectory looks promising. With Harden, Howard, Parsons all wanting him to stay, he could be here a lot longer than people imagine.

Those Lin highlights are just amazing. May have been the "perfect storm" but wow, if you can do it once you can do it again.
