Patrick Beverley has been in a do or die situation all his life, wrestling with grizzly bears in the Russian alps

The haters seem to think that anyone who roots for JLin (or wants him to do well as our starting point guard) is a LOF. That kinda cracks me up. We're mostly Rockets' fans here and so long as JLin is dressed in red and white he's one of the good guys. It's really nothing personal.

ironic, your juvenile insults are making you look infantile, but by all means, if it makes you feel better, keep going.

    come on

Come on. Have you watched all the blow out wins against the Knicks (twice), Bulls (the slaughter on Christmas Day), Grizzlies, Warriors, Lakers, Jazz, Denver? How about his 29/7 on OKC against Westbrook, and 38/8 on Spur against TP? Jeremy directed the high octane up tempo offence against these top or playoff bound teams and played unselfish balling sharing team game to achieve these blow outs, and winning against these teams gave us the chance to be the 8th seed in the playoff. What have your favourite PB done in comparison in regular season? This is factual and the results are in the season game log. Where have you been? What a troll.

Bhawhahaha James Harden is a lot of things but a good defender he is not. If Harden was a lawyer, he would be a public defender, which means he only wins if the other guy misses.

haha, you understand that Rox23 is pointing out people like you right? should've known not to even try refuting someone with "balla" in their handle.

the playoffs is where everyone gets to see where a player really stands. Legends are made, Legends are born.

When players elevate themselves and play above what is expected of them, that's when you know they are the real deal.

Patrick Beverley played far above what we expected, Chandler Parsons took it up a notch and proved that he's a budding force to be reckoned with.

the point is, our young guys elevated themselves and showed to us that there is more to them than we expected.

It is unfortunate that Jeremy didn't, and was limited because of that injury.

One thing we can agree on is that Patrick Beverley has played in at least as many playoff games as Lin.

i'm just saying that don't rule out PB as a guard with starting potential. He is a young guy as well who's barely scratched the surface of his capabilities.

i take it you've never seen him in OKC.

He's actually a good on the ball defender

The most popular guy in town is the usually the backup qb.

This LOF crap has jumped the shark. It's like if you don't have a join date of 1999 and think Lin should start, then you are not a "real" fan. Actually some 99ers like PhiSlamma get accused of being LOFs too. Lin is an overpaid young pg with a lot of potential. No his contract is not egregiously bad and he is not a scrub. I dunno if some posters here have some fantasy of beating hordes of Asian fans with their big bad keyboards or something...

I haven't seen any "McHale" is a racist comments in months so I wish the "real" fans would iust give it a rest. Maybe just waive Lin and sign Matt Maloney to a contract and be done with it.

not just a funny lad, but a nosy lad.

why don't you worry about yourself, stop overstepping your boundaries, and not speak for others?

    you're such a busybody.

Lin's 3 were at 40% after the ASG. Is that good enough for you? But that is not what a pg must do to win championship. It is being a floor general to direct the offence and distribute the ball with good assists, cutting to the rim for layups or dishing out to open shooters. According to your logic, Rondo who still can shoot 3 as of last season would have zero chance to lead the Celtic to their championship. But he did because there are other 3 pt specialists that the pg can dish out to. JLin is a much better shooter than Rhondo and can attack the rim just like Rondo and distribute to his team-mates unselfishly all the time. So what is the problem? If Houston doesn't win a championship next year, it is because it takes time to build team chemistry and Howard will have to figure how to share scoring load with Harden. In any case, we are definitely going to be a better team next year both in offence and defence with Howard. But don't need to expect perfection in the first season playing together with Howard.

    *troll bait for vpballa916

Jeremy Lin will start every game for the Rockets in the next two years.

Not only that, he is likely to have fantastic years over the next two years with a great cast to distribute to. Look for him to improve his leadership as the floor general.

Looking forward to the next two years contending with such an inspirational point guard like Lin.

Looking forward to your response vpballa916.

Oop, typo error, I mean Rondo still CANNOT shoot 3s last season and all these years. Yet his team won a championship in his 2nd season without him raining 3s while Paul Pierce basically played like Harden with lots of iso balls.
