    Nice attitude, OP.

We all know JLin has confidence issues and will need support from players and fans in order to play his best. That said, if you are a true Houston fan you might want to start rooting your starting point guard on so that he gets better, instead of setting f***ing ultimatums in anticipation of failure. The guy has been working hard this summer, will be more comfortable come start of next season, will know his teammates betters, so let us assume--shall we, for a few moments even?--that JLin is going to get better. Why all this negativity about the guy--damn!

ahh my mistake, i was referring to casadolce's post, where people repped him, but left negative comments...they obviously didn't approve of his post, but didn't they also give him rep points?

actually your very wrong, he has a very trade friendly contract. For one its expiring and two he is Still a very Marketable commodity in this league as long as he is above average(Which he is).

You are free to critique who you want. Just like we can laugh at your lame analysis. So you obviously weren't a Rocket's fan when we paid big bucks to Cato or Maloney who have both done less than Lin already has. And you must not have been a Rockets fan when we had Stromile Swift playing for us for 4 yrs / $22M. Hell, Swift didn't even deserve $2.2M for 4 years.

Bottom line is Lin has done just fine. Is he perfect? Not even close. But did he play at or above the expectations of any sane person last season? Yes- including all of the Rockets staff and his teammates. Did he play well considering it was his first full season? Yes. Did he improve throughout the season? Yes. Are you a real Rockets fan? Obviously only if the players aren't named Lin.

someone's sensitive. Lin was the weakest starter we had last season, fact. A team is only as strong as its weakest link. I'm not calling for Lin's head, just saying it's now or never for him and if he doesn't make a significant improvement from last season, his days will be numbered.

and i disagree that he improved throughout the season.

Jeremy was the model of inconsistency last season, this cannot be refuted.

If he wants to retain his position as a Rocket, he needs to be dependable.

Jeremy cannot replicate what he did in NY for a full 82 game season. There's a reason he tore his meniscus at the tender age of 23.

If he really wanted to play that way, he'd be best served to come in as a 6th man to reserve his energy for spurts at a time.

Your disagreement cannot overrule fact. Just because you disagree 1+1 = 2 doesn't make it untrue. Statistics has shown he consistently improved his numbers AND % shots pretty much every month up to the last month. And also I like your team is only as strong as its weakest link comment. I guess the Miami heat is only as strong as Mario Chalmers (and he's not even the weakest link IMAO).

But it's okay don't bother responding, I know you're trolling. This is the only post I for you cause I have nothing to do right now.

You know it sounds funny when you say that, right? Anyways, darn straight people should stop putting down Harden or Bev. Bev was a great surprise for most of us and Hardens a straight up beast for the Rockets. All the hating on own player thing is getting old.

weakest starter we had last season a fact? ummm....i'm not sure but i think we had some pretty weak players in....i don't know, the PF position?

how can you refute the stats and eye test that show he improved throughout the season? maybe we're not watching the same team. be honest, how many games did you watch, cause I saw all every single one.

That's you're paranoia. I don't hate on lin, I hate on his crazy lunatic over sensitive nut job fans who tear down anyone they deem as a threat. It got to a point that even clutch of all people got mad at them.

a troll accusing another of being a troll, nice try.

the difference between Mario Chalmers and Jeremy Lin is one, Lebron James, and 2, Lebron James.

honestly though, Mario Chalmers has way more experience in big time games than Jeremy has ever had.

Chalmers is at least proven, Jeremy did diddly squat when he was able to play in the playoffs, which is why Patrick Beverly was such a surprise.

I hate those who dog Bev, Harden, Houston just as much but you talk about supporting all our players.. Do you feel everyone is being supportive of Jeremy really? I hate those lin fans who talk out their butts but at the same time I hate those dog Lin all day long as well. What am I doing wrong?
