Get Kobe instead of McGrady

Don't get me wrong. I prefer Kobe over TMac. But think about it. Kobe wanted so badly to be out of a team featuring the current most dominant big man, you think he wants to go to right away to a team with the likely next most dominant center? Would that look good for him??? It's that much different between the two situations?

Kobe has the biggest ego and drive. He wants to be like Jordan, taking the team to title pretty much as an one-man team.

If we get Kobe, this is what I will think:

 

Tmac is the best player in the league and if the rockets get him it will be the best move

 

No means no.

 

If he can't win a ring with Shaq, what makes you think he can win a ring with Yao?
