Because the Kings signed Anthony Peeler yesterday, this may be an indication that they don't want Jim Jackson anymore... Just like the Spurs don't need Stephen Jackson anymore. We should get a Jackson! Either Jackson is better than any small forward on our team.
Nice title SLA. heh After Clark was traded, I was curious as to why it was taking them so long to resign JJ. Perhaps JJ is pricing himself out of the Kings plans, or anyone else's plans for that matter. He had a pretty damn decent season as a reserve with Sac. Hell be 33 this season. I wouldn't pay him Posey money, and I bet that is what he is looking for. Is a JJ worth more than Posey at this stage in his career?
the Rockets need to get nasty, right. so which of the Jacksons, besides Janet, likes to be called Jackson if your nasty?
I'd loved for the rocks to get either...Both are better than our SFs. Stephen Jackson would be a better option b/c of his youth, but is asking for too much $$$. JJ would offer some veteran experience, and would come much cheaper...$1.1mm - $1.5mm per year. Getta Jackson!
Stephen Jackson is looking for a little more than we should be willing to give him, and Jim Jackson seems to be a little too old. I agree, Wolfhound...Mark Jackson at the point!
Stephen Jackson is who we need. He's 6'8 and long, and since he is from Port Arthur, we might get him cheaper. We need a long, athletic guard-forward to enhance the mix.
I like this, too. Even though he gets more, he only counts $688,000 against the luxury cap. I would much rather see him at the point than Moochie. He would get twice as many assists as Moochie in the same minutes.
Back away from the Jacksons, Rox. And watch your backside. Those guys have serious attitude problems. Stay away. Stay far away.
Who cares about the attitude problems.... We need a serious SF... bad.... GLEN IS TO OLD... BOKI DIDNT PROVE HIMSELF PLAYING AGAINST PLAYERS OF HIS EXPERIENCE... AND AD IS A BACK UP..
S. Jackson for the rest if the MCE would be terrific news. J. Jackson for a vet min for a year or 2 would great skill wise--but I am concerned about chemistry implications they way his former teams never seem to want him back.
So you want a jackson. Let's see now. Alan Jackson?!? Well he is about 6-6, smoooooth and can handle a pick. I guess that'll work.
