Too many people are thinking the same thing. Someone has to do it.

Coach Silas was tossed into an impossible situation thanks to an "impossible" owner that we're stuck with. He deserves another season, hopefully one with a top 4 pick added to the team. That, and a modicum of stability. I don't know if Fertitta knows how to spell stability, much less provide it for the franchise. We'll see.

Fake news. We all know Tilman is too cheap to fire Silas and have to pay out his remaining contract while paying another head coach.

Silas shouldn't be on the hot seat. He needs at least 2 more seasons to get this team right.

They wont get rid of him until his contract up

Yes, he was put in a very difficult situation

Yes, he also doesn't appear to be a very good coach

Maybe we can trade him to the Nets for Steve Nash. We need someone who can shoot 40% from 3.

Tilman will keep Silas. It's all about the money.

Yep, in the end it doesn't fare ware for Silas. Most rebuilds don't stick with the coach when things are rolling. Silas is a first time coach, he will get a terrible rebuilding record on his resume and then most likely his contract is up when the talent should start developing and we'll bring in a vet or a new option if tilman is willing to pay so that we can say 'we upgraded'. Seems like a nice guy, terrible situation right now, hopefully he can surprise people net year, or better yet in his third year since we probably are tanking next year too.

He shouldn’t be fired , but agree that he should be on the hot seat .

our talent level is awful . Our injury luck has been poor .

still , he and the team will need to show improvement next year . Even if we don’t get a top 4 pick .

he should have more clarity coming into next season about who is on the roster .

if we are a bottom 4 team again he will probably have to be sacrificed. Tough to turn around from that (even if it’s not his fault )

    WTF?

How could this guy be on the hot seat? Did he say something nasty to Patrick?

After Harden quit on the team, the goal clearly was to get the best draft pick possible. How has Silas failed?

Silas has done everything the right way. And don’t even get me started on all the injuries.

Seriously, I have gained a lot of respect for Silas.
