It was passing off as original content - hence some people nominating you for post of the year and joking about giving you a story-time slot...

...and you can't act as though you weren't passing it off as original content if you never once referenced it NOT being yours while also not bothering to post a link. I'm sure even a mention of "I found this on another message board and thought it was funny:" would suffice.

People are b****ing for a reason...sure, most of them are overreacting, but it's partly caused by your failure to simply admit your mistake and move on.

And this...well, this is the first time I've ever been compelled to report a post. Not only do we like to keep things civil around here, but we also treat our ladies with respect. Stop being an *******...and contribute already for goodness sakes!

 

He didn't make a mistake. He posted something hilarious that, while his or not, brought a breath of fresh air into our day and made us cackle a bit. If anything, all those peeps hating because they didn't post it before him should admit that they're jealous they didn't do it first. It's a "mistake" because he didn't post a link to... what, numerous FORUMS where everyone else saw it? If he posts one link, someone will STILL get mad he didn't post the link where they saw it. Puh-leeze, stop freakin' making this crap such a disc... ugh, me too.
