What an ungrateful POS. The only long term solution for these folks in Europe is to get them jobs and become contributing members of society. However, their inability to integrate prevents that. So they're looking at a long term "sub-class" of people who won't be able to move up the ladder.
The orchestraters of the San bernadino , Paris and Orlando attacks were all "integrated" muslims. People were caught by surprise. Integrated or not, a hard line has to be drawn. Ideological interrogations need to be mandatory and immigration from muslim countries completely halted for the next decade. It's no different than dealing with a teen hooked on heroine .. except these are adults being catered to.
This is "Juan" speaking and congratulations! We have two sons I could brag about, but I'll save that for another time. Your life has changed forever, but in a good way. A side effect is that the feeling of wanting to protect those you love ratchets up tremendously when you have a little one to worry about. I'm not sure most Americans could relate to just how frightening an attack on a train like the one that just occurred would be for Europeans, who take the safe, fast travel trains provide for granted. I assume that armed guards will become a frequent sight on trains now, which is a hell of a thing. In any event, stay safe!

I'll take Nazis over terrorists. Nazis at least built up Germany. Germany was a liberal ****hole when they came to power. I can't see anything positive coming from Muslims.
As a German, I strongly disagree with this. Nazis were the worst scum of the earth. A better dressed version of ISIS. The majority of Muslims is not like that.

By the way, folks, having studied the period more than I ever wanted, Dei is dead wrong to label Weimar Germany as "liberal." It was a hot mess, to be sure, and it was liberal if you want to compare it to pure fascism -- what isn't -- but it was not especially liberal. It was a dysfunctional, economically crushed pseudo-democracy. If the liberals of that time had their way, it would have gone the way of communism, FWIW.
