But that's part of the point. He is younger, and will get to develop his jump shot against better defenders. I'm not saying that his outside shot will ever be as good as Vince's, but it will improve greatly over the years. Say what you want, but I believe that Wallace could prove to be a very good player. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
If we could get both Wallace and Morris, they would compliment each other perfectly. Wallace is extremely athletic and Morris can hit the jumper. Man this is going to be good. Also, I heard Orlando was going to trade the their 15, 19, and 24 or something like that to be in the top 5. So if we have better picks than that, are we guaranteed to have an opportunity to be in the top3? ------------------ Greatness is not a singular act, it is a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.
lol DoD. I think he figured since they packaged those three for a top 5 pick, that since our picks are better, that we could package them and get a top 3. But no, of course it isn't guaranteed. Pretty much nothing is guaranteed If we can package our 13 and 18 to crack the top 10, that might fetch us the player that we want. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
We have the 18th pick? I thought we had 23-24, and 13? ------------------ President of the Pete Chilcutt Fan Club.
TMac also has much better handles than Wallace. Wallace doesn't even have good form. If you watch a guy like Dermarr Johnson shoot, he has a pure stroke, and even though he didn't shoot a very high percentage last year (39% three?) he was a shooter. The guys who didn't develop a jumper far outweigh those who did. I'll take my chances on Haywood developing a fire, or Woods gaining weight, over Wallace. Richardson began to develop a jumper towards the end of last year. Wallace will have chance to develop his jumper much better in college, than riding NBA pine. The odds of Rudy picking a freshman, without a jump shot? Probably less than the chances of us getting a top 3 pick. ------------------ "That's been a lifelong dream of mine." -Vince Carter, after laying it in on a breakaway, much to the Vancouver crowd's displeasure.
