    Very surprised Morey wasn't interested. He has tried to trade for him in the past and fits the mold of the new type of player he likes ( Versatile, athletic, high fg% finishing at the rim, great in transition) not to mention he in right in the middle of his prime.     Gerald Green was on the Rockets and Morey took him off like he was trash. It's a shame too I remember he was talking about how happy he was to be home, he just wasn't in Morey's plans oh well.

    Damn, this one's frustrating. Gerald brings a lot of what we need (bench scoring, wing depth, 3pt shooting) and is from Houston. If he's willing to sign in Miami for the minimum, you gotta believe he would've been willing to come back to his hometown for the minimum as well.

    Considering what some other guys have been getting, this signing is an absolute steal for Miami. I'm jealous. :mad::mad::mad:

    We only have Ariza, Brewer, Kpap, KJ, Dekker at the sf spot I guess what we really really really need right now is an athletic SF.

    Green is more of a prototypical SG. His ball handling skill are much better than any of those SF

    No Dwight won by wearing a cape and throwing the ball in from about 5 ft away. That was back when the media actually liked Dwight...

    Thought Gerald had a good season last yr.
