Good, now they just need to get T-Mac to tutor him. This is a good move, very low cost and high potential reward.

Yes, Played against him twice. After the game one of our fans talked **** to him so he INSTRUCTED another one of his crony's to throw his face into a wall. He is a classless THUG with a bad attitude. I also remember him flashing a "grill" to everyone in the audience like the opposing teams fans even knows who he was.

Coach A may be able to develop Green to a good player.

Also, adding Green makes Houston a bit more interesting to watch!

Exactly. Once again, they did this to appease the fans after the obvious salary dump. Green won't be here next season.

Green is still a project but has a TON of upside. He was considered the "next" TMac because of his athleticism and shooting ability. I know he hasn't done jack since coming into the NBA, but this kid has a ton of talent.

I remember watching him in the McDonald's All-American game a couple years back and the commentators were amazed at his shooting range, obviously his athleticism is unquestionable.

And for those that don't like the trade, look what we gave up. If it doesn't work out, oh well.

    VERY good deal!

He adds much needed athleticism and bigtime potential.

Expect those numbers to go up with all the open looks he'll get.

And we get a guy that can create his own shot.... a slasher.

    This year

    33% FG and 36% 3pt > Weird his 3pt % is better than his Fg%

    Lakers get an All-Star
Suns get a future Hall of Famer
Mavericks get one of the best point guards of all time
Rockets get a 2007 Slam Dunk champion

sounds like we're on the right path here, folks.

Landry is also the first pick in the second round for your record as well smart guy.

If you look at the past 2nd round picks are don't last very long in the NBA. Yes there are alot of expamles of 2nd rounders who did great but there are alot more of them who didn't do so great.

    Go look it up.

    I LIKE this deal.

We weren't playing Snyder anyway. So, its an investment in potential.

We already knew that, in spite of Snyder's athleticism, he just doesn't have the BB IQ needed for this team. I don't know that Green does either, but it doesn't hurt to check him out, and the home town angle doesn't hurt ... ;)

I don't see this helping us this year, but it could be of some value in the future.

    Good pickup.

... and it got us under the luxury cap.

2nd round picks are pretty worthless. Last year was a very unusually deep draft, so we did get someone at the top of the round, but that doesn't happen very often. No loss, at least as far as next year's draft, which isn't that deep.

Is this team trying to win now or not?

    The Rockets are idiots.
