I think ANY trade would have satisfied us Rocket fans. I hope that he does develop quickly! At least T-Mac can tutor him and hopefully he can become even better than Mac (super hopeful idealistic thinking)

Also, Snyder is only 24 years old

Green is in his last year, we prolly won't resign him

It'll be nice to have someone to can finish around the rim. This is a good minor trade with no risk with a lot of upside.

i thought he was supposed to be lacking in skill and unable to grasp even the most simply of bball concepts

i haven't seen him play myself but this is what i've read in the GARM multiple times

Green sucks. He's like the SG/SF version of Stromile Swift.

It's going to take a complete change in mindset for Green to stick on the team with any role, but maybe coming home will give him that. This is a no risk/high reward move.

The salaries don't work. Is there more to this trade?

Apples to oranges. We gave up Gay to get one of the best defenders and all-around role players in the league. In getting Green, all we're giving up is a guy who wasn't in the rotation and a second-rounder.

That is, if this trade even happens.

he puts up raferesque numbers. doesn't do much else either. more to's then assists. he's super athletic though.

I think we were just trying to dump synder.

Just heard it on 790 as well ... They mentioned Snyder but not a second round pick...
