That trade doesn't work under the cap. Minnesota has to add another (minimum salary) player to make it work.

snyder on our two big physical defenders????? please.

losing bonzi will hurt, but i'd say battier would be our other defensive guru. snyder never gave us anything, hard to say we would miss his physical bench play.

Why is everyone so excited? He is a dumb loaf that couldnt tell his rear end from the basketball hoop. If you thought Snyder was an idiot wait till you see this clown. And I watched him play in High School twice, the guy is a common thug with a huge ego. Bench him.

It may be the motivation he needs to work hard. Obviously he's not going to be in the rotation here but just the fact that he's going to be somewhere he wants to be may convince him to make himself do well so he can stay.

And it gets Kirk a place where surely he can play.

Man, my basketball opinions are so out of whack with the majority of opinions on this website, it is weird. I was pretty happy about the Bobby Jackson trade. I've always liked him and I feel he will provide a solid, reliable option in games when Rafer is just off or playing badly. Most people on this board bash the trade.

This trade goes down and my reaction is...meh. Don't really think all that highly of Green. Everyone in this thread is going bat**** over this guy.

Edit: Anyone else get the feeling like this was plan B or even plan C to trading for Miller or Artest?

Green? He sucks!! Barely hitting 33% FG this year! That's Rafer number! He will probably stay in the D-league for the rest of the season. What are you guys so happy about?

Rockets did this solely to appease you guys so you would stop crying about Bonzi. Green's contract will expire in the offseason and thats that. No more NBA for Green.

i played against him when he was playing at dobie. i remember i was warming up and im 6'5 white boy. and as a high schooler i thought i was all cool to just get up and jam it with two hands. then i looked down to the other side of the court in warm ups and its gerald green doing a between the legs reverse dunk, absolutely amazing, and he also dunked on me and it was on the front page of the pasadena citizen. Sweet that he is home!!
