Here's an awesome mix of Gerald Green that has just been made. Definately worth watching.

I like his swagger. The type of swagger that you saw in the Young versions of MJ, Kobe and T-Mac. Question is, can he use all that confidence to make him a better player?

The kid can play ball, he just needs an opportunity to learn from the best. Shane can teach the kid the bball IQ if the Kid is willing. If he is willing, the sky is the limit. I'm betting that he's willing due to being bounced 3 times, this will soften up a hard head.

    Gerald
    * Get smarter, stronger, and learn how to play D. Tmac got on the floor with Toronto by playing D. Shane stays in the league by checking the toughest offensive player night in/out. Learn from Shane and "Get your money, little duffle bag boy":

Okay honestly always have been on the Gerald Green bandwagon since high school when the Rockets wanted to draft him, but he went before we picked. If you look at his boxscore stats he had like several 20 point games and like a 33 point game. In the Mcdonalds game this guy can flat out shoot the three. Reminds me of a young Tmac handles aren't as good, but just as good a shooter and athlete. I'm willing to bet money that Green will be a player for us next year and for along time.

    Right on.

Green is more than a favor to Snyder and his expiring contract. The number 2 wasn't added on for the helluva it either.

If Green came out now,I'd wager he would easily be a 10 -15 pick.

This is in fact a better deal than the Bonzi one. Kirk is kinda old and he just plain sucks, never gets any minutes, and is injury prone. Gerald Green on the other hand is an agressive young player. With some better coaching and faster offensive tempo by the Rockets. And I could see Gerald being a good player on the Rockets.

The trade for Green was great, but too many people are underestimating Kirk Snyder's value. He's not a bad player. He's also not old and only had one instance of having injury issues. This guy was a major rotational player last year during the early part of the season under JVG. If didn't injure his hand in that one game which forced him to miss many games, I suspect he would still be in the rotation right now. Since then, it's just been a string of bad luck for Kirk. I wish him good luck in Minnesota now.

dude i think u know noting about basketball. first of all ks did not suck at all. he was good and just falling deeper and deeper into our bench. injury prone?? hardly. and do u actually think gg will be in our rotation. if anything he will play garbage time and take over kirks role on the bench. im not doggin him but the kid didnt even get a role on bad teams he played for. basically i think houston was doing kirk a favor by moving him and i do see some potential with green but we will see what he does with that. JUST BOOM IT!!!!!!

Hey,I'm actually being conservative. ;) At least it wasn't back from 18 :D

DaDa,I really believe he blossoms here with the mixture of vets, coaching, and being home. But I AM a glass is half full kind of guy.

He can hit the outside shots, get to the hoop and help provide athleticism for even better team defense. The guy just needs to buy into and learn his role at first..Like I said I'm confident with the people around him and Morey already being intimately familiar with him speaks volumes.Maybe he won't see much court time until next year, but I think he's staying and will contribute.(perhaps in a bigway)
Personally I see him getting a looksie and perhaps a little PT(maybe more) this year.

I figure the Boston experience was good for him while in minny he had to deal with chaos and a giant logjam. It's a good thing that WE got him right after that. The TWOLVES stated they weren't keeping him a ways back and sure enough McCants really is starting to come into his own.

So buy this guy low and hope for the best. He's got SKILZ and is barely 22.

Remeber, McCale is a moron and might be THE bottom 3 in GMs in the whole league... he got his team barred from the first round of the draft for two years and he traded away KG for LESS than he was offered 1 month earlier...

Green might be an MVP for all we know

I don't think you are aware of the history of the Clutch BBS. None of the true fans quit on the Rockets when they were down.

You're ignorant about the fans on this forum as well about the fans who aren't part of it. Lots of Rocket fans live outside Houston. I'm not disputing the attendance figures and I admit there are a number of fair weather "fans" but there are many who have stuck through the hard times and will continue to do so no matter what happens.
That's what this website is all about.
