Gerald is nothing more than a mediocre NBA player, he will never be an all star, he is much more likely to be Harold Minor than T-Mac.

Couldn't we sign him for something like the LLE? I'm sure he'd accept that and I see no reason for us to not to do it.

I don't get it: why did Morey let him go this easily?

    because he isn't that good

I realize he has upside, but he isn't good enough to actually care if we don't get him. he couldn't even stay on the team last year...

who started the rumor that gerald green was decent at basketball?
Morey knew Green was there. He obviously wasn't impressed.

I love stats GMs like Morey.

However Morey's probably never played a minute of serious basketball at an above average level...how can he judge players is beyond my knowledge. Luckily we got scouts and Adelman...

Probably because of his attitude and questionable work ethic, he needed to man up like Soulja Boy. But for real Gerald should be on the team, why would we need Loren Woods and Mike Harris when we could have had Green?

Oh in that green stuffs case, Gerald's found a nice place to call home with Josh Howard...

look out for the next Josh Howardbash on the eve of playoffs...

so I guess you're saying off court issues is the only reason we don't want him? (even vet teams have rookies so I don't see how winnow affects that)

Dude, are you Gerald Green's cousin or something?

Yeah Morey really struck out last year, getting Scola, Landry and Brooks and getting rid of Juwan's albatross contract

Woods and Harris are going to be replaced by Greene and Dorsey.

But he can become really good...

I think that investment is worth it...however I'm not going to stress too much about this Gerald Green issue anymore. But still I think a spare roster spot doesn't hurt when you have people like Loren Woods on it

I think Woods spot is going to be taken by Dorsey

Gerald Green and Donte Greene are redundant. At this point, Donte's potential is higher because he's a rookie.

Yeah. Who's going to take Luther's spot though?

I think they are about equal in potential......but Donte seems to have his head on a bit straighter....

Geralds pretty much the same...he can be known as a 3rd year rookie I guess.

Geralds barely played properly in a full serious game. at least Donte has been carrying Syracuse for one year.

So Geralds more of an rookie than Donte

Hopefully someone a helluva lot better than Green. Also, Luther is under contract so we would have to trade him...we would be getting at least one player in return to fill the spot
