I only saw bits and pieces of tonight's game and GG looked very good. Hopefully he can turn it around this season and make their rotation.

I think he starts out maybe as the last man off the bench, or someone just out of the rotation, but I believe he will play his way in, his offensive abilities are just better than most players not named Dirk, Josh or Terry.

That's on the Delorean 88mph scale. You have to go back to 2003 or so.

Green simply lacks the passing skills and headiness to be McGrady type good, more a Jason Richardson type. Not enough depth of basketball know-how to be like Kevin Durant or any guard/forward with superstar potential.

probably, but if he ends up being able to be half as good as jason richardson im pretty sure we can all agree it wouldve been worth the 13, 14, or 15th spot on our roster to find out.

He has looked pretty good passing the ball in the preseason......not PG good, but decent enough as a SG.....and a heck of a lot better than Luther Head at passing.

    ;)

One year contract so hopefully after he has a good season with the Mavs, he bolts and comes back home to H-Town.

Oooh...that is interesting, if you are the Mavs, would you intentionally hide him or play him to win?

Dallas is going to be no better than a wet fart this year. If he's got game, they'll play him. They have to.

Why did we waive him again?

    ...and was it worth it?

We had bigger needs than an unproven bench warmer from Houston.

We had bigger needs to fill, so yes, it was worth it. Who on this roster would you take him over? Deke is coming back. Don't say Luther Head because we can't cut him. We have to trade him first. We're not going to cut Francis. Maybe Von Wafer?

He is slowly getting into their rotation, he played amazing tonight and led a comeback in Denver with 13 points in about 11 minutes.....and one amazing dunk.

I think eventually he replaces Stackhouse off the bench.

maybe you could answer the questions in post #56. I would take him over Head.

...but then again maybe he's just an athlete with no talent.
