Harden + PJ for Simmons+ Thybulle + Maxey + 1FRP frees up cap for the Mayor to stay. Houston wants 3FRP and Simmons. I’d take Maxey and Thybulle and 1 FRP instead and throw in PJ.
I love Gerald Green, but Harden and even Tucker are far more important. Whatever call we make on them shouldn't be related to his situation. I'm also not dumping any of the high upside guys. Second round picks are very easy to come by, so I wouldn't have any issues using one to dump Clemons and keep Green.
Tucker looks uninterested when playing yesterday. He clearly wants a raise or he's going to coast this season. I'd take GG over Tucker right now, at least GG is good for the locker room.
Yeah, I'm actually tired of watching those two. Never thought I'd say this but I'm actually tired of watching Harden play. I just want to see 5 guys on the court, moving the ball and being efficient with some staunch defense on the other end. Harden ruins that.
That'd be unfortunate, Gerald Green (on the court) plays hard and has developed into a solid rotational player who can spot up and take the 3point shot effectively, off the court in my eyes he lent a hand to the flooded Houstonians during Harvey so he's more amazing in my book. If he does get cut, he'll find a home on another team quick. There's always a need for a player who can play decent defense and shoot the 3 at a good rate.
Bullshit. PJ is so god damn mediocre, he was easily the worst C or PF in the playoffs last season. I hope they trade his ass for something better. The guy can't create, he can't dribble and he can't score unless he is wide open in the corner, what kind of liability is that ****? And he can not guard centers at all.
He may get a raise in free agency. Who knows? What he wants is a guarantee of a paycheck for a few more years. At 35, he should know better. He sounds like a baby in the interviews where he says I want to be where I'm wanted.
I read a Clemons + 2nd rd pick trade would not count against the Cap. Essentially find a trade partner and trade Clemons/Pk for nothing allows Rox to keep Green.
Half of those scrubs are rookies. How is that deep for a playoff contender? Some of those positions are indeed deeper. PG SF Those spots are not deep IMO. (Wood is under normal circumstances a C)
