Yup..... Basically this. Gerald Green, Jeremy Lin, Rudy Gay, Jodie Meeks are all NBA caliber players, but if they are your #1 or #2 option, you ain't winning jack.
I dont see why they cant win a playoff series with Green scoring 20+/game. Hes a pretty nice complimentary player to Dragic. Nobody thought they'd be in the playoff PICTURE, let alone them being controllers of their playoff destiny now with Dragic as their primary scorer. IMO they are a real threat to anybody come playoff time. For those doubting Gerald Green, take a look at how long Chauncy Billups took to "get it together". All of a sudden he became a leader, scorer and Mr Clutch way late in his career. I wish him luck and glad he finally got it together unless we face them. Just another dude H-Town reppin!
Gerald Green is on JR Smith level. He can score when he's hot, but when he is cold he is really icecold. When his shots are not falling he will still gonna jack up bricks. Momentarily the Suns are 2 games out of the playoffs, behind the Mavs for 8th spot in the west. They are currently in a 3 game losing streak.
He's actually on Blake Griffin's level since the All-Star break. Source: http://beta.thescore.com/news/450468
i was going to start this thread last week...and then realized it's not something to write home (or a thread) about, at least not yet. I was going to include February though, but if we're just talking about march..well, that's only been six games. That span was highlighted by a 41 point game too... And his last three games are 25,16, and 8...The timing of this thread just isn't right...
