Not one of these idiot Bush haters can accurately point out any of his "lies". I don't care if all of you hate Bush and his views, if you're honest you have to admit he has strong morals. Unlike Clinton, Bush stays true to his vision and his beliefs. Now you may disagree with is beliefs, but you can't deny the fact that he has shown a much stronger moral fiber than our previous joke of a president. If Clinton wasn't so preoccupied with getting his dick sucked and avoiding another Somalia public relations mess, we could have taken out OBL and the 9-11 attacks might never have happened.
"Patriotism is the last refuge to which a scoundrel clings. Steal a little and they throw you in jail. Steal a lot and they make you king." - Bob Dylan
You know, this probably the real crux of the matter. The fact that W lies, in a league of his own among Prsidents, to me is plain as day. I guess others must subconsciously filter everything he says in order to get" the truth". Also being called a "bush hater" is quite telling. There appears to be two camps in this world: "bush haters/clinton supporters" and "bush supporters/clinton haters". No shades of gray here.
I have shown several instances in which G W Bush has actually lied. 1. He mentioned a report from the IAEA that said Iraq would have nukes in 6 months. The IAEA never made such a report. He said that it was a mistake and mentioned another report. It turned out that the other report didn't exist either. Finally on the third attempt he mentioned yet another report. It turned out that the last report wasn't even published when he made his original speech. That means he was lying to begin with, lying during the cover up or both. 2. Bush said on Polish national television that the U.S. had already found WMD in Iraq. That was a lie. 3. Bush told Congress he wanted authorization for force in order to keep the peace. That was a lie. 4. Bush claimed that he would fire anyone involved in the leaking of Plame's name and referred to it as a crime. Once it was discovered that Rove was involved Bush's statements changed. If not a lie, it is certainly dishonest. I'm sorry but starting a war, and lying about reasons to start it doesn't seem very moral to me. You have strange ideas about what qualifies as moral. You also have shown zero evidence that Clinton's sex life is what kept him from going after Bin Laden. Furthermore calling people idiots does little to help make your point. You seem incapable or unwilling of using any evidence to ever back up a point you make. After reading several of your posts, you seem almost incapable of debate, or discussion.
What exactly is a "strong moral standing" The televangelists embrace the term...but I find many of them to be intolerant, divisive, judgmental, and...how to put this nicely....NUTZ. Same is true for the Religious Right. And....in my opinion...Mr Bush as well.
