It is his half brother, who he doesn't know very well. That's the point. Once parents move on, it isn't really incumbent on the children to forge a bond that never existed. It's different if they already had a bond and it was broken.
do you have a half brother. I do, and its kind of like the situation here, there is a twenty year age difference, I've only met him a few times, and we don't live near each other. needless to say there is no relationship and it has nothing to do with either of us being ashamed of the other. and for you to suggest so is even beyond your usual stupidity
who shows up and claims to be the son of Pbama's dad? It says that he has met him twice (and I'm assuming it's meaning twice since the age of comprehension), so it's not like he's popping up out of the blue in his life...
Except, he doesn't even "show up." A journalist dug him up. I haven't seen the part yet where George Obama was asking his half-brother for a handout. How insulting would it be to have your estranged foreign half-brother come and wave money in your face unsolicited because he doesn't think you're doing a good enough job providing for yourself?
What is organizations live moveon.org, Micheal Moore.....I can go on and on. The democrats throw just as many negative crap as the republicans, but once again I am not expecting somebody who is definitely on one side to see it that way....the grass is always greener on your side, but sitting from more of a non-partisan viewer, who votes based on the issues/candidate and not a party, I respectfully disagree with you.
You could go on and on but you'd still be wrong. Time after time studies have indicated that Republican campaign advertising is substantially more predisposed to negative attacks than Democratic ones. From 2004: and 2006: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/10/26/AR2006102601811_pf.html THe "hey both sides do it" defense doesn't work when one side does it substantially more often.
Well the girls would turn the color Of the avocado when he would drive Down their street in his El Dorado He could walk down your street And girls could not resist his stare George Obama never got called an *******
I expect you to say that, as there is no problem with defending the party you are obviously very loyal to, you should do that.............however, that alone doesn't make it right. We are not just talking about ads, but overall rhetoric and campaign tactics, which both sides can be just as ugly towards the other........no one needs studies to see that........
I have to say it is quite ironic, that when I first posted here I was discussing how I thought articles like this George Obama one were completely unnecessary, and both sides continue to go down this path (whether through media, ads, speeches, and so on) - bringing up negative information to smear the other candidate that is irrelevant (I was comparing it to McCain and the house issue). I was talking about this as someone more moderate that votes both Republican and Democrat, depending on the candidate and the race, but hate stuff like this and didn't think there was any place for this in the campaigns (that was really my only point here). Then to find out the only ones that are attacking me are those on the left, which is very interesting. It's like when something breaks in my house and I go to ask the kids who did it, then one kid who comes running to me first screaming "It wasn't me, it wasn't me, it was my brother..." I know right off the bat he is the most guilty.........
Being moderate isn't a license to make up facts. But, you're right, statistical data is comparable to your children being afraid of getting into trouble.
Yes we do need studies otherwise it is a bunch of individuals who bring their own personal biases to the equation. That's the point of having studies, is that it makes it more objective and less subjective. As far as the overall campaign tactics your point doesn't really make sense. Unless you believe that they have ads that are one message and everything else their campaign does is another message it just doesn't add up. Campaigns work hard to unify their message and tactics.
