george hill has a 8 mill contract this year and this contract runs for 2 more years. i think if we give up Alexy Schved and Kpap along with draft picks for George Hill that could potentially be our Point Guard for our big run. Indianna isnt going to make playoffs this year and Paul George may not come back it may be worth it for Indiana to get some valuable assets and stock up for next season. Rockets in: George Hill Indiana In: Alexy Schved, Kostas Papanikolou and Draft picks
Bird wouls say 'Yea!' faster than Carroll can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Go back to random trades and stay off these.
Thats not bad, what about three. Even though I would want him to run the offense when Harden is out, he still needs to be able to hit threes. I know he can play defense though being on the Pacers.
Man people just love trading "Draft picks" like they are just freebies we can replace. No, George Hill does not move the needle for the Rockets much at all. I think alot of people undervalue what Beverley brings, and overestimate what a guy like Hill brings. I definitely want an upgrade, but you have to be really really reaching to think George Hill is going to move the needle for you. If Indiana wants to gift him to the Rockets just to save a couple bucks in salary, then sure, but the Rockets draft picks are going to be traded like gold over the next couple of years by Morey... not silver or bronze.
he would be an interesting piece he is good defensively not a great 3pt shooter but he can knockem down...ive never really known him to be a great disrtibutor but he would be an upgrade over any pg we heave... really i would like them to give shved more minutes he is a good player imo
If he can create and distribute he'd be create if not you are right. A second facilitator on this team would do wonders.
Still makes $8 mil for next year and the year after, just like Calderon. Honestly, for offensive efficiency, Calderon is better. But neither are Morey type contracts...Jared Jack on the other hand, only makes about 6 and has a small buy-out I believe next year, making him an excellent Morey target.
I'd say he's an offensive upgrade for sure. He may also be a better defender than the Bev we're seeing lately, tbh.
