George Foreman and Hakeem Olajuwon's Pitch to Bosh

Unbelievable. Especially bad on Hakeem's part, George didn't really get a chance.. he spent the most important part of the little time he got talking about center. Almost trying to suggest Bosh to try a new idea, "i think it would help you." At this point when he's being recruited, he doesn't want to hear about how he can get better. First, you gotta talk about other things, like championships, rosters. Then, when you get him, I'm all for Hakeem to help, maybe work and train with Bosh like he did Yao. Who better? But this is not the kind of video you show a top free agent, real turn off.

After the stuff he saw from other teams in Chicago, saying "these guys really know how to sell a franchise" he may even roll his eyes inside a little at this. I believe we do have Toronto where we want them with our SnT package and have a great chance of winning, but recruiting is also important.

Hopefully, we get another, longer meeting in Chicago, and Morey has something else up his sleeve.

And cmon, if he's your top target, at least know what position he DOES NOT want to play!

They should have gotten Deke to say something and then subtitled it with something different. it would have cracked Bosh up and he would be on Dm's nuts for being hilarious.

 

Wow thats Hakeem there. I think thats the deal sealer for me if I was a young guy trying to make a NBA Championship run there is no other player I would listen to more as a powerforward or center than Hakeem the Dream.

 

If Chris is in touch with basketball history, he would admire the Hakeem pitch.

No player played the game better than The Dream.

 

I thought it was sweet. It's not like they thought that their video is going to make him decide anything, they are just showing how much support the team gets from celebs in the city.

I liked Hakeem's I'm not just making a sales pitch, I really think it will help you!
