Tried that yesterday and had a score of around 6000. Tried again just now and did much better with a score of 11222. I did pretty well on four of the pictures but was way off on one of them.

It's so frustrating when you get dropped in the middle of a long road in a desolate wasteland with no signs.

 

I like how in one of them there was a sign that said, "Hong Kong."

That last picture was a brute! Pretty much a guess with that one. I was off by nearly 100km.

I'd like to know how you were able to guess within 1 km when you're put a million miles from butt-****ing nowhere in the frozen wastes of Canada.

 

I did it hardcore and got around 7k. Not bad since 2 were basically in the middle of nowhere landscapes. I guessed one of them was in Idaho (Utah, etc) and it turned out to be pretty close, just north of the border in Canada. The other was either South America or Africa and I guessed wrong.

I had another spot in the dead of winter with someone's outdoor above ground pool in what looked like some super rural trailer trash home. And then I saw the license plate of a broke down car and it had those wide Euro license plates on it. I just randomly guessed somewhere north of Moscow and was also pretty close on that one too.

Do you mean point 4 (or which one exactly)? It is a road. You follow it... you follow it... you follow it... then figure out with lakes, rivers, streets, signs, etc., where you are. Have patience, young Padawan.
