Picked up some Russian and Spanish from the signs. Well, the graphics really lag and I guess you just have to have time to scroll through for enough clues.
I look for street names, road signs, and telephone numbers. Currency signs in shop windows also help.
I did pretty well except for the one I got really far off. Saw a canadian flag and a sign for a scotia bay, so I figured it was nova scotia. Turned out it was in BC. Other than that I did pretty well. The japan one I saw a sign for highway 50 and saw it was near the coast so I used that. The hong kong one I saw a sign for stanley hong kong karate club and that was a dead giveaway. Italy I saw forno so I figured it was italy and mountains so northern italy. the first one I've been to that area of central europe before so I kind of eyeballed it Overall did pretty well for my first go 19195

Yeah, but Australia is VAST and Montana is a small square. Also, just click the distance travel and you'll go by .25 of a mile at each click. Look for "next town [x] miles" markers, or billboards with advertisements. Did I get Jurassic Park here?!?!?! http://postimg.org/image/evnfijhof/

19,834. Got dumped in backwoods Vermont and didn't have patience to make it to a major road. I knew it was is US, in the east, but guessed too far south. Other 4 were right on.
