General Baseball Question: What happens if a pitcher refuses to leave the mound?

    Do you remember what happened the next day? 13 more innings. At one point Craig Reynolds was in left field. Came running in to catch a low liner below his knees. Runner from third tags. Since Reynolds was a natural shortstop, he made a SS throw and threw the runner out at home.

    On the replay, the camera panned the LA dugout and you could see Lasorda mouth "how did he make that f$&@$#g throw". Good stuff
