This season I absolutely enjoyed streaming the games over the internet up here in Austin -- it was a real treat to hear their final season especially during the 22 game run. We didn't win a championship or even get out of the first round -- but we did do something remarkable for Gene and Jim's final season.

Thanks for the mp3, Vengeance. I wish they'd included the one where Jim goes "Oh mother!" I no longer remember what game it belonged to but it killed me every time I heard it.
That was Game 5 in that series between the Rockets and Jazz back with Barkley, Drexler, and Olajuwon (1997?). Eddie Johnson hit that incredible 3 to win the game. I remember riding in the car with my folks when he hit that shot. I'll never forget seeing everyone in the family scream "YES!" when he won that game. Too bad it was followed by one of my worst memories of all time, the following game . . .
I have been a die hard fan since 91 and used only listen to the games on the radio since I did not have cable, it will be impossible for anyone else to replace these guys and there voices. They are the only voices I have ever known for the Rockets and I will never forget them! Good luck and thanks for all the amazing memories!
