After listening to these new guys on 610 throughout the season and then hearing Gene & Jim call it tonight, I really took these guys for granted. These guys are true Rocket homers, and that is what's to love about em. When they were showing them on FSN calling the 4th, they would cringe everytime the Nuggets would shoot a shot and show such excitement with their body language when the Rockets made a good play.

Is it just me... or do these new guys j*zz in their pants when the opposing team makes a great play? They go crazy and I'm sitting in my car wondering... who the hell are you rooting for?! With Gene and Jim... you always knew their allegiance.

 

While no one can ever replace Gene and Jim, I don't mind Craig and Adam. What I do, however, mind is every away game. It's just Craig. No Adam. Look, I understand there are extenuating circumstances, but SR610 needs to get someone to do away games pronto.

Ideally? Adam Clanton. Real Rockets fan? Clutchfans? Gets excited with every shot and let down after every loss? Bleeds Rockets red? Hates the utah jazz hands? Yup. All of these things.

Too bad he's tied up at KPRC. And Matt, I wouldn't think they'd be to keen on letting one of their drive time guys go away for half the year, but I might be wrong.

well i'm a girl so i have no problem saying i shed a tear or two during the tribute at the game. jim's speech was very heart-wrenching and i love them both.

No problem! I had the recording equipment set up beforehand but I missed part of the halftime tribute (where Bill talked) because I was finishing up an interview.

If anyone has trouble downloading them I am going to try to upload them to an odeo player today so that I can just insert it here.

 

yeah i just use a converter to download it....was there a way i can do it without all the converting crap? cuz when i just click it, i just get the audio...i want to keep a copy
