    I'm a political wuss.

I see one crazy globalist, who doesn't appreciate the constitution any more than the communist manifesto and I duck behind my keyboard... ;)

Wait! Wait! Wait! If he is a financial wunderkind, why did he need an accountant to do his taxes?

Because finance and accounting - especially tax accounting - are two totally different things.

So we put him in charge of the Treasury, including the IRS. The IMF has to remind him to pay taxes, and he's not smart enough to see that his child's camp is not a business expense?

My credulity is strained. He had access to tax law (even I do), and supposedly he has the expertise to interpret it. Either he was too lazy or too stupid to do (or at least oversee) his own taxes -- so Obama put him in charge of the Treasury.

I agree - I posted several months ago that this indicated he either did something very stupid or fraudulent. I'm not sure he should have been put in the SecTreas position because of that.

That said, once he was put in that position, he's done a good job in my opinion on the policy side after a bit of a rocky start in terms of the communication side of things.

I see your point, Thumbs. It strains credulity that he thought his daughter's camp was a business write off.

On the other hand, he was one of the few guys they could find who did not work for GS, and who they could still trust, though given the job he is doing, he can look forward to being there in the future. :p

This is like playing gotcha! with Martha Stewart b/c her maid didn't get one of the dust bunnies under the designer couch. "She doesn't even know how to clean her own house!!1!1!"

That said, the guy does give the impression of being a tool

That said, I would damn sure not want his job. Just about anybody would look like an ass these days.
