    Whatever, K-pop is like a thousand times better.

    Is it true that there's a guard post along the DMZ where the South Korean troops have rigged up a sound system to blare K-pop constantly in the general direction of the North Korean post.

    Its not so much Christianity but yeah its the variety of Christianity we gave them. They got our evangelical variety which sucks royally for them.

    Christianity was the first in an admittedly long line of steps from hereditary or military despotism to values and rule-based government. The first task in creating a free, empathetic and productive society is to codify traditions, laws and ideals that outlive and transcend the interests, indulgences and anxieties of the people in charge. "King of kings" and "son of God" are actually subliminal calls towards public dissent and eventual self-government, but to a people and a culture that at that time only respected hereditary birthright and embraced obedience and complacency in the interests of self-preservation.

    Religious beliefs are considered divine revelation. Creations myths have mostly been debunked with respect to their literal context, but some consider them to belly a symbolic message. Beliefs prescribing how we live are still pretty relevant.
