    I thought he was 7'1". Floyd's article says 7'. His stock is falling.

    Jason Williams is a lock for #1 next year.

    I wouldn't say that... no one is a lock right now, but if you look at it objectively, more teams will be going after Yao than Jason. You can find good point guards. 7'5 centers with athletism, fundamentals, good shooting touch, etc. come around so seldom that hardly anyone will pass that up, unless a team at the top desperately needs a player at another position and is set at center.

    Outlaw, Yao is a much better player than Shawn Bradley though. He isn't awkward and can score unlike Shawn Bradley.

    Actually the thing with the tall guys is their legs.
    Yao seems to have strong legs. The upper body can be worked on

    Gasol kind of sounds like a prick to me. Pretty much he says: If you dont take me with the top 5 picks, then I am going to stay in Spain and play another year in these oh so competitive international leagues.

    Why the hell would you want to stay in Spain (despite the fact that the women over there are amazing)when you can play in the freakin' NBA?? Who cares if you go #1 or #50?? You are going to play NBA basketball for the love of God.

    Am I missing something here?

    DrewDog: He needs a large enough contract to pay his way out of his obligation. The max an NBA team can pay is 300k. It's financial, not his ego.
