Yeah let's just keep Yao on the bench until the 4th qtr...we should be able to go undefeated from here on out and run the tables in the playoffs...
Or we can take Yao out in the 3rd when there is 3 minutes left, and bring him back in when there's about 6 minutes left in the 4th. Keeping him fresh. I believe JVG did that or was it 8 minutes left.
Don't take those T-Crap lovers serious. These cockroaches always emerge from dark corner to bash Yao as long as Yao hasn't a good game.
Have you not noticed how even the bad teams attack the paint when Yao's out, because we are undersized without him in the middle? And you want to take him out for almost ten minutes toward the end of the game?
Gasol is a good athletic center indeed, but you ask yourself if you are willing to trade yao for gasol w/o consideration of yao's market value. How many times is gasol doubled by opponents in one game? so how about yao?
Comparing a first round virgin to a future HOF who carried his franchise to multiple championships is beyond absurd.
Word, not to mention that Duncan is much older than Yao. People just refuse to accept that w/o Tmac Rockets suffers lot more than they realized.
You made this thread because Gasol AND THE LAKERS got off to a better start than Duncan AND THE SPURS?? Duncan doesnt have a problem receiving multiple types of entry passes. Duncan doesnt lose the ball after grabbing rebounds or entry passes as much as Yao. The other points are laughable especially to base it off of one incomplete game.
Actually it was Garnett until the T-Wolves finally got some talent around him then T-Mac took the mantle.
Oh, I guess it's ok that the Spurs actually pass the ball to Duncan's chest, while Yao has teammates that pass it to his ankles You know, because it's easier to catch the ball when you are 7'6 310 pounds to catch the ball at your ankles I can just tell who has never played organized basketball here, you are one of them.
Really do they all pass to his ankles? Or does shane always fake the shot and pass STRAIGHT to his chest or artest will lob it up to him? You can't keep blaming everyone else for Yao's clumsy and bad hands.
Usually when Battier passes that, It's success. However, in the Lakers game he just wasn't able to pass it to him. Especially when he was bounce passing it to him. Sorry, but nobody should be bounce passing it to a 7'6 player, unless you are good at it like Aaron Brooks is. I find it straight up hilarious how everybody just blames his hands especially when he didn't make that many mistakes under the JVG days.
HAHAHAHAHA Never played organized ball.... Thats funny. I guess the Rockets need to just ask the Spurs players for tips on how to make the entry pass to Yao. Though, I wonder how the Rockets players would fare trying to make the entry pass to Duncan. I mean, after all its SOOOOO easy to make those entry passes to Yao when he has guys shading him to one side. The Rockets should just fire the wing players who cant make that simple play. That skill should come along with learning to dribble the ball while walking and bringing up your right leg on a right handed layup.
