Only Chevron. I used to be exclusively Exxon - but I noticed my car would hiccup a lot when idling (bought it a year ago) when I used that brand of gasoline... so i switched to chevron about 8 months ago and it's been smooth sailing since.
Yeah that is the cheapest in my area within like 10 miles. The Premium is at 3.80/gallon. (as of yesterday)
Anywhere. I used to shop for price. But, prices went up so much, I stopped bothering. I'm screwed whether I find the best price or not. Whenever I'm out in the boonies, I try to buy gas because I know its cheaper than inside the loop. I'm surprised by the number of people who have brand loyalty with gas. Maybe it's that your car is more sensitive than mine, which apparently has a strong stomach.
For me, it's not about the car, it's about stock. My parents gave me stock in ExxonMobil for graduation/21st birthday.
You'll probably save more by not buying from Exxon than you'll make by increasing their sales. But, I can appreciate the sentiment. My electricity and computer purchases are governed by the same logic.
Why is shell more expensive than anybody else? Me I'm anybody excpet shell its atleast 10 cents more than anybody else...never understood it
At the Real Canadian Superstores gas station, its among the cheapest, and get free money coupon for buying stuff at superstore.
HEB, is there really a difference between the gas from shell, chevron, heb, walmart, ect.? I was under the impression that all the gas came from the same refineries.
