This is really getting out of hand. I'm in GA, and I'm paying $3.69 for gas. I could take that and get me a nice combo from Wendy's dollar menu.

I rarely fill my car to the brim, but I think it would cost me around $45 to fill up my Grand Prix. I feel sorry for those who got SUV's.

Don't feel sorry for them. They knew those things were gas guzzleers well in advance.

    $3.45 in my area.

It's about 65-70 bucks to fill up with premium (17 Gallons). At the same time it doesn't help that I get about 15-18 mpg. But the fun I have driving my car is worth it.

Of course I drive a daily beater so I don't waste as much. But in general is really getting out of hand. Heard a report that gas has gone up from 98 cent average when Bush started to what it is now.

I know what you mean. If I did more highway miles I would be all over it. But stop and go + big engine = crap lol.

    What do you drive?

What I wonder about is that they're a bunch of college kids where I used to go school who got 98-00 Suburbans and Tahoes who got em just so they could show off and put 22"+ rims on them and driving to classes even though its just a 10min walk. And I'm talkin bout the avg type student financially who got their refund check or worked a few months somewhere to save up for that kinda stuff.

You guys have it easy compared to Canadians...we pay $4 to $4.5 CAD per gallon now, which would be equivalent IF the CAD wasn't almost 1:1 with the USD...

A lot of Canadians have been going across the border to buy expensive commodities actually..like cars, high-end TVs and computers, home appliances, etc. since the CAD is so strong.

None of have it as bad as Europe. I know in England they pay close to 11 bucks a gallon. Of course they don't drive as much since they have better mass transit but still crazy.
