Wasn't the whole theory that Ahmadinejad would bring about Armageddon on August 22nd? Must have missed it, I didn't watch a lot of TV this past week...
$2.59 here on I-10/Normandy at Conoco while its $2.60 across the street at Shell btw, speaking of after Rita, over at I-45N and Rankin, it was $1.92 about the middle of October, no lie.... that didnt last
when i drove by a few days ago, i thought the richmond/chimney rock prices were insane at about $3.10. i guess i was right b/c according to that website, it's basically the highest in town. i had been needing to fill up recently and everything around me (45 at pierce/dallas) was like 2.79, 2.83 and i just figured that's what it was. then i went to my parents house this weekend and everything was about 2.59. luckily i waited to fill up until then. they're not too far from kuykendahl/spring-cypress, which is apparently cheapest in the city at 2.46, but it wouldn't really be worth the extra 3 mile drive each direction. even though i'm only saving $2 or $3 on every fill up, it still feels nice to be paying significantly less than just a few weeks ago. ahh for the days when it was actually sub-90 cents for a while (i swear i remember 0.83 just outside the neighborhood within the last 6 or 7 years).
Both the Sam's Club and CostCo along I-10 by the Beltway are at $2.57. I had noticed the trend down a week or so ago but hadn't really noticed how low (relatively speaking) the prices had fallen, seeing as how I don't go anywhere.
Just went for a fill up and the petrol (or gas as you guys call it, "Gas' is what comes out your ass when you've eaten baked beans! ) was down 13 cents a litre since last week to $1.28. Lowest in a long, long time.
I just started a job as a contractor at BP. I need these high prices dammit! You guys are just hoping I lose my job. Damn you!
and it looks like the hurricane won't march across the Gulf, shutting down offshore facilities. that's a good thing for prices, too. if this is the only Gulf hurricane we end up with this year, that would be a very, very good thing.
not grossly familiar with Pasadena, so Im not positive ...between 45s and 225 on the Beltway 8 feeder next closest I have seen is $2.15 up here where I live at a Shamrock station
Don't worry, I bet it drops more tomorrow. Here is the link for the gas stations. link That station with 1.99 is at Beltway and Spencer.
Paid 2.29 yesterday at Wal-Mart, but I'm in Waco... I don't understand why there's a price variance around the state...
Does anyone ever fill up at that Shell gas station on Chimney Rock and Westhiemer. Its like 2.75 right now!!! Its always about 60 cents higher then normal.
