This is flawed logic and why people can't understand why players see Dwight they way they do. Pushing weight doesn't matter as much as you'd think. Weight's don't hit back. People want to know you're willing to throw down with someone. that you've done it before. That you can throw a punch or are crazy enough to do something stupid, even if you're not a good fighter. Dwight's upbringing was smiling and joking at a Christian private school that was close like family. Never had the college experience. Doesn't sound like he was in the middle of trouble much...No tats ( i know that's not everything, but helps with a tough guy image) and he's not crazy. So, he doesn't fit the tough guy label. Oddly enough, Javaris Crittenton went to the same HS....my guess is he went there to escape trouble.

This makes no sense. I mean, it might make sense if Dwight acted like a tough fake guy but he doesn't. Like you've said, he's always smiling and joking and I don't think thats what you do when you are trying to be a hard ass. So they don't like him because he went to private school? Lol
He talks a lot. For whatever reason, it rubs guys the wrong way. Dwight continues yapping They go after him because nothing about him or his history scares them. I think we assume he talks about funny and innocent stuff, but that may not be the case. Some people like that can't be serious, when they probably should, so they can end up offending others. Durant is one of the most well liked players in the league, by other players. He didn't win that survey by picking on guys for no good reason.
