Unfortunately for Dwight, the game today is getting more and more soft. Dwight can't use his strength to fight for position b/c everything's a foul.
I never saw Dwight as a big trash talker on court. At least I have never noticed it. Any examples? I only remember the Kobe one and Kobe instigated that.

This whole narrative is petty...People act as if D12 has no will to win...Whoever believes that obviously didn't watch last years playoffs where he was working his ass off on both ends, no smile in sight. They want Dwight to man up, but if he were to knock some dude's clock like he's capable of doing what would the media do? They would say that he is immature and selfish for leaving his team and having a mental lapse leading to a suspension...It's over played and sad quite frankly...

Yep, he needs to go Bill Laimbeer on some mothas... some of that Piston's mentality and take it all the way to the playoffs. Dorsey is also a physical specimen and needs to use that. We need to build that identity because we are no longer a finnesse team we are a Defensive team... that means a lot of contact.
What discussion is that exactly?? The over-played, over-sensationalized "story" that Dwight is soft? The story that only Kobe fanboys, and bloated, out-of-touch ex-NBAers think is funny, so they continue to shove it down our throats? Ok, fine, I'll contribute. I think Dwight needs to put his head down, ignore the haters, and come out and dominate. And I think he needs Harden's help to do so. Without consistent play from these two, clowns like Shaq, Barkley, and Payton will always have a platform to speak from. And also, Gary Payton got fat. Is that enough contribution for you?
I think this entire commentary is hateration!!!! To me this is a product of Dwight actually getting better on the offensive end. His postups are still cumbersome to our fastpace offense but we are going to need that half court set in the playoffs so he might as well work on it now. Stay focused D12.

The memphis announcers last night were pissing me off talking about how no one likes Harden...seriously, I think it's laughable that people 1) claim Howard is hated 2) claim that he is hated because he smiles too much....lol -- I guess if you're going to be hated, might as well be for being too damn nice.
The rules are being arbitrarily applied, then. Like you said, Kobe is all show.. KG talked more smack to Euro point guards than any big man in history and would back away as soon as anyone challenged him. Former teammate Anthony Peeler got in his face and KG had nothing to say. Sure, those guys are better players than Dwight, but Dwight isn't trying to be fake tough like they are.
I think he just talks a lot. Probably tries to be goofy in tense situations to lighten the mood, but others see it as annoying or like he's mocking them.
