Gary Kubiak: Matt Schaub is OUR SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM QUARTERBACK

Schaub I bet is ****ting bricks to hear his head coach say that he is the Texans QB. Schaub is now on the clock.

 

Gary Kubiak is our short term and long term head coach.

 

You don't have to be a BAD head coach to be so-so... and that's what Gary is.
But you have to be EXCEPTIONAL to take a team to the championship level... and that is what Gary will never be.
Like Wade Phillips, he can be an above average coordinator but that, more often than not, doesn't translate into a good head coach (Mike Sherman, Dom Capers, Jack del Rio all are examples). These guys had their shots and couldn't hang. No disgrace, just not their expertise.
Admit the experiment is over and move.

Of course he will say that.

He said the same thing about Carr before kicking him to the curb.

And as bad Schaub has been lately, he's still miles better than Carr.

 

Shaub is a poor man’s Romo.

We need to make Case our starting QB and TJ our back up and Schaub can be 3rd string like a boss.

I'm sick of this. Why the heck did we extend Kubiak and Schaubs contracts.
