Clark's 3 pt shot wasnt there for much of his Rox stint.

He also exactly isnt a big boy isnt he like 6'6? He was brought in as the PJ Tucker protege but unfortunately he couldnt shoot straight during his time thats why he got cut.

Yeah its a mistake to cut him now but at the time it wasnt a big deal esp cuz he made room for Jeff Green who has become a vital part of the rotation. He can join rhe list of guys Rox had over the years and dumped too early including Kyle Lowry, Marcus Morris, Patrick Patterson, Christian Wood and Robert Covington, among others.

Who sits on the bench, whether it is Frazier & Clemons or Gary freaking Clark, doesn't matter when they're professional seat warmers for a 7/8-man rotation.

Clark was the only guy on the Magic roster tonight with a negative +/- (his was -7)

Gary Clark filled in well for Gordon.

He did have 1 good game in a row for Houston on more than 1 occasion. Problem is his shot. Erratic. Unlikely he scores 15 again these playoffs.

    This.

Clark got lots of time and chances.

Melton is the one Morey didn’t want to move and is the one that hurts because he has the physical tools to make a difference.

Gary Clark with an amazing 3 points in 30 minutes. What an incredible talent that we let get away

How could triple chin Morey do such a thing?!?

Giannis heard some rumblings on a Houston Rockets fan site about how they shouldn't have let Gary Clark go.

Giannis reminded the world why we did.

Vuc outplayed him for 2nd straight game.

If Magic had even ONE of Isaac or AG, this would have been an ORL win.

    He's going up against Giannis.

I'm expecting him to be bad.

    I don't think he's a rotation player on a championship team today.
But I could see him being one in 4 years.

    Frazier & Clemons I don't see that.

Clark not being embarrassed in 1 game vs the MVP of the league is very encouraging.
We wouldn't be playing him in these playoffs. But what about the playoffs in 4 years.

It's would've been better to keep Clark.

you’re talking about 4 years when we’re trying to win a championship now...

he sucked here...Who says a scrub like him would still be on the roster 4 years from now? He hardly ever produced here, and Mike gave him time.

This is Robert Covington all over again. We cut him then traded away young talent to get him back.

You telling me there haven't been moments where you saw him as the 3&D forward of our future?

Why is Frazier Clemons on the roster over him?
Admittedly those two could make it. But Clark has shown a lot more in his time here. Even starting in his rookie year for a stretch. When he obviously wasn't ready. That tells me he's shown the ability but isn't big / smart / Good enough shooter at the moment.

But he can build up on that.

    Covington did too.

    Dude we went over this.

RoCo never saw the light of day, Gary Clark was a STARTER for us when everyone was injured and he NEVER succeeded.

No, we're not trading Clint Capela for a ****ing Gary Clark, any time in the future. We're not even trading McLemore or DHJ or Austin Rivers for Gary Clark.

Glad we kept House over Clark.

House is a legit starter now.

It’s Robert Covington all over again why? Because u said so? So every scrub we let go is gonna become some very good role player now?

We are currently in a playoff series and competing for a title, but u are crying about some scrub named Gary Clark and the thought that he might be useful 4 years from now. U don’t realize how ridiculous that is?

And this thread was made why? Because he had a decent performance in a game u didn’t even watch? C’mon man

Don't forget, MCW is there too. Orlando made a team of our scraps. We need to send them Bruno.
