What a joke. The 2 sides need to remember that this isnt exactly the most watched sport in the USA and to cancel the season because the 2 sides couldnt come to an agreement is pathetic. IMO I could care less if they ever come back and wont shed a tear for either side.
Agreed. I never understood why people go into a thread that is about something they don't like just to annoy those that do like it.
Yeah, thank god they cancelled it, 'cause now I can watch more arena football and nascar on TV. Oh wait, how about those guys strike too? Then maybe they'll show old re-runs of Matlock or something.
Ya know.. Sometimes I do this, and to be honest, I really don't know why I do it. I guess, it's because I feel strongly about the topic (in the opposite direction). But it's really not that great that I sometimes go into a thread and pop someone's bubble. I totally destroyed AB's Whitney Houston thread. Looking back, nothing I said was inaccurate about my feelings, but I probably shoulda just kept my mouth shut and let him and others enjoy their discussion. I'd apologize, except that I'll probably do it again and people would probably take my apology as more of an insult. I'm not jerk. But I don't know why I do it. -- droxford
I really don't care as I never watched Hockey that much anyway. But I do feel for the people who depended on Hockey for their income like the beer vendors, ticket sellers, janitors, etc. They are the ones that are really hurting.
