Was anyone else watching last night's game? Dude got stripped several times. He's not a PG, and we need a 3rd PG, especially until Lowry comes back.
The problem is WHAT THE TEAM NEEDS....with Lowry injured, the lack of one single PG with at least decent court vision has been too noticeable IMO.... A backup PG with court vision is far more needed than a combo guard who hustles and little else...
ATTENTION CLUTCHFANS........THIS IS AN ALERT !!! It has come to our attention that there are posters in the GARM, that do not understand the game of basketball. The post quoted above is a primary example of such behavior, if you see ignorance like this displayed in posts in the GARM, please do your best to ignore it. Things like this can bring the IQ level down below Jr. High level. Thank you for your support and attention to this crucial matter. DD
...yikes.....and I thought I'd never had to see that name in the garm again...ooooh the nightmares.... As for Temple. Sucks, I really liked his game. We always seem to have small PG's....
mmm, methinks you don't know what the term "ignore" means. It doesn't actually mean "keep talking about ignoring someone but actually reply to their posts taking about ignoring them". That behaviour is called "attention whoring".
hehe, but rafer alston for 10 minutes off the bench at vet minimum is actually not bad, at least until lowry comes back.
More than likely it'll be similar to past deals, sign for rest of the year and a non guaranteed for next.
I'm guessing think the Rockets don't have the salary space to sign Temple for the rest of the season. Hopefully Conroy has a better showing this time around. Re: playoff eligibility. I think it's a signed player needs to be waived before/on Mar 1st.
From what I heard, he really wanted to play for Miami. Though Alston at the vet's min as a third-string pg isn't bad, but I don't know if he would accept such a role after starting for Houston for so long? < Good. >
This has to be it. I would prefer Temple over Conroy so far from what I have seen. He shot the ball ok, played decent defense and seemed to have a lot of confidence. Turnovers would have gone down over time.
it's to save money and also do a full audition of both players. Also maybe it's good for practises to bring in D-league playrs that are hungry for a roster spot, keeps the practises high intensity.
