I don't really follow the timberwolves but from what I read, KG wants out of Minnesota to go to a contending team. Minnesota won't be able to get fair value if KG forces the issue. Vince Carter was traded to the Nets for next to nothing because he didn't want to stay in Toronto.

Anyway, I am not saying it will/may happen and I don't believe the Suns would trade Amare either, at least in near future. I mentioned it because it's an very interesting idea which can give the Suns a scary lineup in the next few years and also I found it surprising that a Phoenix fan would want to trade Amare. I thought starting threads about trading their star players is a hobby of the Rockets fans only. :p

I'd like to see garnett somehow get back together w/ marbury. Maybe the twolves can work out some kind of trade w/ NY to get him into minnisota. Then maybe they can get sprewell back. That would be a nice starting linup, maybe they'll even become a playoff team.

garnett, sprewell, ricky davis, mark blount, marbury

i don't think this team is going any farther than a team with a healthy cassell instead of starbury

The threat of injury seems to make internet fans trade-happy. When we traded for T-Mac, people were saying we had one of or the best player in the league. And, he played like it. But, when his back acted up, trade-T-Mac threads started popping up, and he was being left off of people's top-10 lists. I'm sure Amare's surgery has Suns fans quite scared that he will never be the same player again.

That's kind of unfair to equate wanting to trade T-Mac as being in the same boat as leaving him off your top-10 list. I would never trade the guy but it's delusional to say he's one of the top 10 players in the NBA at this point. Can he regain his former status? Hell yes, but there's too many question marks to say that at this point in time Tracy McGrady is one of the top 10 in the league.

Question marks as to his skill or whether he'll ever be able to produce like he did because of his deteriorating back? If injury wasn't a problem, I'd say there is no doubt he should be in everyone's top-10. But, it is a problem.

Besides, I don't know what I'm being unfair about. I'm just saying both types of threads are the result of his injury-plagued season. Even if that wasn't true, it still wouldn't be unfair.
