what a freaking girl. he was just mad because they were losing. i did this once in a rec league when i was maybe 10 years old. i trucked some kid going for the steal. KG...a 30 year old with the temprament of a 10 year old. thats what we call FAKE HUSTLE and DOUCHEBAGGERY Mr. Garnett!!
I'm tired of all that "wack yourself a few times in the head and pound your chest like a real man" = true passion. I think the world and fans are starting to get confused with passion and wacking yourself. If you miss a freethrow, just because you wack yourself many times showing frustration doesn't make you more passionate about the game. It just means you're an angry player. If you're passionate about the game, then show by guarding the best players, carrying the team, leadership etc. All I see from KG now is asking other players to guard the best players. As I recall KG often ask his teammates to guard big men that KG himself can't guard. KG may love this game, and sure he may be passionate about it, but in the end he is just some revolutionizing 30 year old player that likes to hit himself more than play the game.
Bill Russell says KG is the most passionate player to play the game......not to mention his favorite player......... As Shaq said, there is a pecking order here, and you are at the bottom of it......
I watched that entire game and Bellinelli drew 5 offensive fouls by running into screeners and falling down. He deserved a cheap shot and I don't even like Garnett.
Good lord, you bunch of pansies. If Yao had set a pick like that, we'd be praising him. I don't see how a lot of you could have made it through an NBA game in the mid 90s. That was old shool, right there. Good hard "wake up b****" pick...
Before the season is over, somebody is going to either punch or take a major cheap shot at KG. He's painted a giant bullseye on his forehead and some player will take a shot at him.
Mutha*****k Pierce Mutha*****k KG Mutha*****k Boston Yo, and here comes my left blow <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/S7krGO66LYM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/S7krGO66LYM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
It's just KG playing with passion. Don't you get it? He's just intense, which makes it ok. KG is a douche, wow you can knock over a guy who is 8 inches shorter than you CONGRATULATIONS. I wish he'd try doing something like that to Artest. He'd get the **** hit out of him.
for all of you who support that pick. thats almost to the degree of the pick barnes gave rafer. and if any other player in the league gives that pick its an offensive foul. i mean its one thing to set a hard pick and another to hurt the player. i hate kg. somebody post the pic where he gets dunked on by yao
Can we sign him up for the Bengals? I was thinking the exact same thing V3.0, nice block. It's unreal how much that guy gets away with.
Bingo. You can't just look at actions in a vacuum. Belinelli played like a punk and got laid out. Good for him. Had Garnett done this to Okur or Kirilenko this would be a very different thread.
Yup and if it had been another player setting this pick there probably wouldn't even be a thread about it.
This is the best example of what Kevin Garnett does if he tries to mess with someone that's not Marco Bellinelli (seen here, as he cowers away from McDiggityDyess): http://uncutvideo.aol.com/videos/9ac6bd1c2d139ffba96745b998e2453a (with Michael Jackson music to boot) As well, I can't believe wreck was the first and only one to mention the Barnes pick on Alston in comparison to this...When that pick occurred, everyone was calling for MB's head on a stick. However, when the almighty KG pulls an even worse stunt (IMO), it gets praised in half of the replies here.
the one on Bellinelli.. come on. I think KG is annoying.. but that wasn't dirty. It should have been called an offensive foul. But it wasn't "dirty" at all. It's just contact! He dropped his shoulder. some people move their hips out on picks. People do illegal things all the time.. he should have been called for it and wasn't. But don't call it dirty (and obviously not flagrant)
Love the video... and how blind are people to think that pick was alright? It should have been called for a moving pick as well. Lets think of all the people KG picked on this season. Add more to my list if there is more. Belinelli- Italian. 6-5 Calderon- Spainard. 6-3 Bayless- Rookie PG. 6-2 Im not sure if that Andrew Bogut one counts, it was a flagrant foul but it wasnt a taunting act like in the other cases
I don't think it was flagrant either. But comparing moving the hip with dropping the shoulder is wrong. The purpose of the hip move was to impede the opponent's movement. The purpose of dropping the shoulder is to hurt. Not all illegal things are equal.
Again you're looking at things in a vacuum. Yes, both were hard picks that should be called. But Barnes' justification, that Tmac set a hard screen on Nash earlier, was completely bogus. If Tmac or Alston were dirty players I think even us rockets fans would understand why Barnes did it. But they're not, so Barnes is the punk. We don't give a damn about Garnett. Belinelli deserved to get hit. I don't care who does it, but Kirilenko needs to get hit too. Will you be crying tears for AK if Garnett knocks him out?
