Which is different from the Republicans attacks on Democrats in what way? Neither party is above name calling, distortions, or outright lies.
In cases like this, I think it's interesting to do the other shoe test. If we were 3+ years ago and the headline referenced VP Gore, what would be the reaction? I suspect some on the left would continue to push for openness in government, but I honestly can't see that even a small portion of the right would have the same views currently expressed.
I was going to post something, but I feel a lunatic seizure coming on. Affects only my left side. Odd, that. Ken Lay and Cheney cook the books on an energy crisis that doesn't exist, pocket some money, and laaauuughh.... Ken Starr gets $40 some-odd million to investigate Lewinsky's hummers delivered to Clinton. 9/11 gets $3 million, which is bumped up to, what?, $15 million, only after widows of 9/11 victims scream bloody murder. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan laaaauuuughh.... I could talk about how Clinton made an embarassment of the Presidency with his bimbo eruptions, and how the Rose law firm and certain S&Ls of Ms Clinton did some dirty dealings, and how Clinton should have never signed NAFTA, just to prove that this isn't all my leftist lunacy speaking. Did I say that Bush, Inc. were behind 9/11? Nope. Nope. Do I think that there are a lot of unanswered questions that Bush Inc. doesn't want anyone to know about that deserves some investigation because the American people should know just what kind of crazy crap never gets reported to them? Yep. But I do thank you. When a knee-jerk reactionary calls me a leftist lunatic, I know I must be on the (forgive the use of this word) right track. For your loyalty to Bush who was helped into office by Antonin Scalia whose son was part of the law firm representing Dubya in his bid for election before the Supreme Court, I say, Good doggie! Sun Tzu wrote that All war is based on deception. Right on. And these people in the White House now could give a damn about anyone who owns less than millions of dollars. Oops, wait...another leftist lunatic seizure coming on....
Please provide a link to support these wild claims. I would like to see objective, fact-based evidence which supports the points listed above. Back it up or retract it. You decide.
The GAO's lawsuit demanding Dick Cheney turn over minutes of a private meeting has been thrown out. Not even a Clinton judge would have found against the administration on this. There's a separation of powers in our Constitution. Congress can no more demand private papers from the White House than Dick Cheney can demand to see notes from all the meetings Senator Joe Lieberman's staff had with Enron lobbyists - one of whom just happened to be a former aide to Lieberman. Once again, the liberals have been EXPOSED. Keep the volleys coming, it's getting more and more enjoyable to DEBUNK them.
