I don't agree he is very creative.

But for making a lot of money, yes that makes him a corporate douche.

So you must not like Romney...and Obama...and Les Alexander...and Sergey Brin too, right?

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but regardless of whether his music is good or not, the fact that he wrote and composed the track, choreographed a silly dance, and became a worldwide sensation overnight certainly makes him creative. Very creative.

    Kudos to Mr. Psy.

I think his music is on par with Brittney Spears and Chris Brown.

What he said is very wrong. He apologized for it, though.

Americans are in South Korea because the North and South are still technically at war. This dork wouldn't even have a country if it weren't for the Americans that died there to protect it. Wishing people's families dead isn't a protest.

Nope, pop music in particular was originally created as a retail product for teenagers and young adults; and ultimately deals with the two things that define them more than anything else: sexual angst and misguided but passionate rebellion and self expression. Mainstream music in the '60s and '70s was just as provocative as this stuff; South Korea might be at that same stage historically or politically.

None of you guys even try to understand why would he say/do that. Typical ignorants just getting pissed when you found out you are not as popular as you expected around the world.

Psy acted outrageously back in 2002 because 2 little Korean girls got killed by the American army stationing in Korea. Just like Okinawa in Japan, the American army has conveniently harassed and cold-bloodedly killed innocent young girls often in those area around military stations.

In 2004, he pulled that shxt because a Korean missionary priest got beheaded in Iraq due to the American invasion. Understanding half of the Korean population are Christians, you bet all Koreans were angry again another innocent life lost for unjustifiable American invasion. Everyone knew there were no WMD but you guys went ahead anyways.

So you are saying Koreans have no right to be angry at you guys? You guys are all saints and everyone else must be evil. Yeah... right.

Very true, but Americans have the right to not support someone who doesn't like America. Let's see how well Psy does without American money rolling in. Wouldn't be surprised in his next video if he's carrying an American flag selling out for $$$.

Sorry, but the real joke here is you assuming that individual Americans define their entertainment tastes by your values, or more absurdly by some kind of blanket patriotism. The real offense is trying to conflate American morality and redemption with our wealth. You really want something to be "disgusted" about take a couple moments to read (or just think) about what we had to do abroad for the last four centuries to get where we are economically.

The lyrics you listed plainly talk about killing Americans (and their families) connected to torturing Iraqi captives. NOT Americans in general.

This is a nice Foxnews spin in the story. I expect a more critical eye out of you, Realjad. Open your mind and THINK before you kick back.

    This is awesome.

Yes I'm very familiar with grindcore, horrorcore and all of that

(No I didnt think it was THAT bad, cuz it lacked any more illustrative extra dirty, gory detail)

Its how those lyrics are kinda no frills bland direct to the point

Surprisingly I heard Gangnam Style on the radio today. Didn't think anyone would still play it.

Oh well, I gangnam styled in my car during the traffic jam like it was 6 months ago.
