Lately it's been College Hoops 2k8, Metal Gear Solid HD (specifically Sons of Liberty) and NCAA Football 12. Kinda like you I wasn't really feeling BF3 after playing Bad Company 2 for so long, but I've grown to like it. Not nearly as much as Bad Company, but it's a fun game if you give it some time.
Sonata and RES I'd say, as you can play RES 2 online and have two great games. If you don't like Amalur(people are split) you're screwed. I also think Sonata is a must have for RPG fans. Wait til Amalur is available for less money.
I just finished Alan Wake, and it was a nice game. Now i'm playing La Noire, Skyrim and Crusader Kings 2
Man, I got halfway through Noire and just couldn't finish it. I really hated how they didn't let you lose. If you made wrong decisions (on interrogations) you weren't penalized. You'd just end up chasing the villain.
You were supposed to feel iffy about your decisions. Spoiler I mean you were basically arresting the wrong guy each time anyway. There were still right and wrong answers though. You were penalized...not in the game over way, but in the weak score kind of way. I mean you could still "lose" in certain scenarios like dying or letting the wrong person die. I loved the game. I feel the facial animation really raised the bar for video games. I wish that the interrogations weren't so easy to get wrong later in the game though.
Hm. Maybe I'll finish it. I loved it for a long time, but I realized that all the time I got the questions wrong, I was in a cheap chase scene. EVERY TIME. They could have varied it up some way.
Console: Killzone 3 coop. On PC: BF3, some RTS games....and other random games here and then every now and then.
Skyrim, and AC: Revelation on Xbox... A lot of my friends play League of Legends so I'm installing it right now, gonna give it a try.
I downloaded emulators for SNES and Gameboy recently and started Pokemon and all these other games again. It's hella dope and I feel like a boss.
