Would you guys happen to know if this is enough to run NBA 2k13 with mods?

    AMD FX-4100 Zambezi processor
    3.60GHz

    8GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory

    1TB SATA hard drive

    24x Double Layer DVD±R/RW Drive

    AMD Radeon HD6450 Graphics

Not interested in using it to play much more than that honestly. Surfing the web and maybe video editing, but thats about it

I dont know much about them, but any help would be appreciated

Need a better vid card and a solid state drive for your OS.

Should've asked this question 3 days ago buddy.

Had another in mind but it sold out so this is next in line

You don't think this video card is good enough?

Also can you recommend a SSD at reasonable price?

Remember I done know too much about this stuff

    You don't need an SSD.

Definitely true. They're nice to have, but the game will run fine without that feature. IMO, the CPU, graphics card, and adequate memory are more important.

I'm running 2K13 with max settings on a worse PC (laptop actually). You'll be fine. Be sure to check out NBA Live Series Center (just google it) for mods. In particular, nab Sean John's Heaven and Earth v2 (adds sweat and shadowing) and pick up some cyberfaces (Chandler Parsons no longer looks horrific in my game!)

Here's what your game can look like:

    Parsons comparison:
Default NBA 2K13 (actually 2K12 but the same in 13) -

    Parsons I'm using:

Mods on rosters are slow right now but will pick up. Last year there was a mod for 2K12 that had over 200 classic teams to play with with real cyberfaces, later in the year we'll see similar things done.

Ssd cuts load times across the board, and after ram is the best bang for the buck upgrade one can do on their laptop/desktop.

It's benefits go beyond gaming, it's night and day

As for vid card, depends in what resolution you want it at. There was a card going at the same price as the Msrp of the one you listed.

Awesome...look for SSD by Intel, crucial or, Samsung. Reverse order is better. I would run with a dusk drive configuration... SSD for apps, your normal HDD for movies and storage. Don't go fir cheap outside those 3 brands unless you've researched it.

Yeah, my bad, the preview pic I copied the URL from was much smaller. If a mod wants to edit my post that would be great.

Thanks for the pics though just to show me and that doesnt look bad anway. Im not trying to blow out the scene as much as I am with getting the mods and
and just rosters similar to what you just mentioned was done with 2k12

I know leftos isnt done with reditor yet, because they're going to throw the College Hoops mod in there too, also waiting for that.

Invisible Fan... this computer comes with what I showed you. If later on I can replace what I have with a SSD, I would be happy to. Actually just learned about those things about 2 weeks ago
