[Gaming] Buy xbox one (including bundles), get free game 9/7-9/13

Looks like the Madden bundle is dead online

 

I picked mine up at the Microsoft Store in the Galleria during lunch.

The store clerk didn't even know about the deal, I had to show him the Microsoft website on my phone. Definitely call ahead to see if they're in stock.

I might trade mine into bestbuy...dont feel like driving to the galleria then find out they are out of stock. Bestbuy also does trade in's but for the newer 360's

 

Also, I tried to get Destiny as my free game but since it doesn't come out until tomorrow they wouldn't allow it. I ended up getting Diablo III since I figured it has the most resale value ($60 on eBay). The Madden bundle might not last through tomorrow so I didn't want to take my chances on missing it.

 

ive heard people get the bundle today and a free game (diablo for example) then just waiting till tomorrow to trade the game for Destiny...just you know keep the game sealed.

 

Will this work? I reeeeeaaalllly want to get this done today and exchange for Destiny

Sure no problem, you can also pick up older games like TitanFall, Forza 5, Dead Rising 3 and others used on GameFly for $25 or so. That's what I'm planning to do :grin:

 

brah even if it doesnt work @bestbuy or ms store...there is always the GOAT....WALMART. Dont even need a receipt to return most things and ive exchanged games before (unopened) there before. Im sure if you take a sealed game and say you lost your receipt and want to exchange it for a game of equal value it would work

 

The PS4.....in Japan....has been a HUGE disappointment. The Xbox has never sold in Japan. The Wii U is outselling the PS4 by large margin in Japan.

The other deal comes out to about $430 with tax...hmm

 

Unless you have kids or a significant other that games, Kinect is terrible.

 

Well, I bit the bullet and went in on the deal. If I can sell the kinect and forza for about $100, I feel like I'd come out in a better situation because I'll actually use Live whereas I don't really care for Madden.

The Best Buy deal + the free game will probably be better than any Black Friday deals when they happen.

I think this is the prime time to get an Xbox 1.

got a hell of deal today at the MS store

they were out of the xbox without the kinect so i had to get the one with it.

Anyways i traded in my slim and got $100 and GTA V and got $30. so $130 credit.

Heres what i got:
Xbox one with Kinect + Forza 5
$50 Gift Card
Free Destiny game
Total= $412

 

Pull up 3, you convinced me to try the Microsoft Store. I just came back with this haul:

XB1 w/o kinect + $50 GC + Destiny - $100 Xbox360 trade in - $11 COD Ghosts trade in
= $311 w/ tax

I also did a side deal:
2 year extended warranty + XB1 controller + 12 month live + Madden
= $195 w/ tax

I tried to do a Halo preorder instead of getting madden, but they couldn't do it. Instead they mentioned what you guys have been saying about not opening Madden and exchanging it once Halo comes out. Since I purchased it for $60, they'll honor the price. Dude specifically said they do it all the time!

If you guys want to take advantage, I suggest you call ahead. They literally had two XB1's available and I took the only one without the kinect. Also, they are pretty relaxed about the trade-in procedure. I didn't even have to give my hard drive, whereas Bestbuy requires a 250GB HD in order to get the full $100 value.

nice i also got the 2 yr extended warranty yesterday so the total was around $500...which is what the xbox w/kinect costed alone!

damit i shouldve taken out my HD...oh well. So did u end up cancelling the other order u made? looks like you made out with a really good deal as well and like you said people should jump on these deals cause they run out of the xbox without kinect really quick.
