While I think we will win more than 35 games, I doubt we get the 50 needed to really secure a playoff seed in the West. Everybody got way better while all we added was Ariza and the Aussie fella.

    35 wins?

When rox won only 28 way back in 2001, rox got yao in the following draft.

While that injury plague season of 2005 which rox won 34 games, rox net Battier via a draft day trade.

So its not that bad. Be optimistic guys. Look to the future and just be content with the games of this year. Enjoy the fast break points, the hot shooting nights, the hustle and the work rate of the young guys.

We virtually have the same team that took the Fakers to 7games. We swapped artest for ariza, and yao n Tmac and its virtually the same team... arguably better with chase. 35 wins IMO is too low. If you want to prepare for the worse than thats fine... but i believe we will make the playoffs. i say about 45 wins... 7th or 8th seed. We are better than the mavs last year, and they actually won a playoff series !

We are a 5th seed in the lottery and i'm being optimistic and patient with this.

If something don't happen by the time next season starts i give up on this team.

I'm starting to think more and more that Morey is depending on this years Free agency and draft to do something.

They have done everything in their power i believe to put the right pieces together, it's just not working ATM.

It's kinda like a lawn mower.

First season you sharpen the blades and put the blades together.

Second season you check the oil and give just a little more.

Third season you pull the cord 4-5 times and it bairly starts then back fires and cuts off.

Fourth season you give it some fuel and pull the cord and it wont start up.
Then you find out the spark plug needs to be changed so you do that and try to start it and it makes some noise.

Fifth season you get to mowing you come across some high weeds and it dies on you.

Sixed Season you pull the cord to try to start it and it bogs a little.

Seventh Season you pull it to the side and then start it and it's ready to make some more noise i hope and this is next season.

This is like describing the Rockets seasons when we got McGrady.

He's definetly the X-factor, without him the rockets are going to struggle offensively in half court sets. Especially after 8 to 10 games when other teams can scout their offensive tendencies, Tracy and in some cases Scola are the only players who can command a double team.

First season you sharpen the blades and put the blades together.
This is when McGrady joined Yao. First Round exit to Dallas.

Second season you check the oil and give just a little more.
This is similar to the First Season. First round Exit to Dallas.

Third season you pull the cord 4-5 times and it bairly starts then back fires and cuts off. This is when Yao and McGrady missed the rest of the season.

Fourth season you give it some fuel and pull the cord and it wont start up.
Then you find out the spark plug needs to be changed so you do that and try to start it and it makes some noise. This is when they traded Gay and Swift for Battier, which lead to First series loss to Utah.

Fifth season you get to mowing you come across some high weeds and it dies on you. This is the Second series loss to Utah when they won 22 straight.

Sixed Season you pull the cord to try to start it again after tighting a nut and it bogs a little then dies. This is when Artest Joined and McGrady only playes 15 games.
    Second Round loss to L.A.

Seventh Season you pull it to the side and then start it and it's ready to make some more noise i hope and this is this season so Yao misses the entire season and McGrady comes back in December oh shoot must be a stick caught in the blades this time.

8th Season You get mean with the Mower and it starts cutting just fine and vibrating like hell and making some noise. This is when they chase Bosh.

You see what i'm saying eventually the damn thing will be cutting just fine as long as you keep trying.

Forgive me but isn't the thread heading about Vegas picking the Rox to WIN.

35.5 is not winning anything in any conference.

actually, this prediction is extremely accurate. you just need to add 9 or 8 to his number. so the prediction for rox is 35.5 + 8.5 = 44.
